We stayed in a flat overlooking the Trevi Fountain, which was a great experience, but meant that the food options nearby were pretty bad, as you would expect from such a touristy area. After getting shut out of Claudio Torce's Aventino location (which must close early), we returned home dejectedly, but found Valentino's on TA. My wife and I were floored with how good it was. She said that the yogurt flavor was her favorite of the entire trip. The dark chocolate fondant was fantastic, and made every other flavor taste twice as good. The owner was also very friendly with a penchant for philosophizing, which made for a great sendoff from Rome.
