Traveled to Rome recently with family and stayed 2 nights at this small hotel located about 15 minutes walk from Roma Termini. The location is great within walking distances of many sights. Vittoria Emanuelle monument is right next. The room was spacious and newly furnished with a good size bathroom. The front desk staff and the lady running the breakfast were all friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast too. You need to ask the lady in the dinning room for boiled eggs and cold cut meats. She did not give them to you automatically. Other breakfast items are basic such as cereals, breads, milk, fruits etc. The elevator was strangely small. It can only hold 2 people and 1 or 2 luggage. There is a small grocery store next door selling bottle water, snacks and fruits. Overall, it is a good hotel to stay in Rome. Price is comparable to other hotels too.

Room Tip: Select a room away from elevator.

We stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights back in September, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was our 1st time in Rome so asked advice from reception of distances to best sites
to see and best ways to get there, most where within easy walking distance apart from the Vatican, but the bus station is not far from the hotel so that was the way to go.
The area felt very safe to walk around at night. There is a lovely little bistro restaurant next door, definitely recommend it.
We would stay again if we went back to Rome.
The rooms are not very big but we asked for a balcony room which the hotel obliged with, made a difference to be able to sit there with a glass or two of vino.
The breakfast is not the most inspiring but it is continental, they don't advertise in very large print that you can have ham and cheese+ boiled egg in its shell, but if you ask at the little counter they will give it to you.
All in all it is a small and friendly hotel.

First visit to Rome and was looking for a reasonably priced hotel that was centrally placed. This hotel certainly fits the bill. It was very clean and the staff all friendly and helpful. It's perfect for a few days and all the sights are accessible on foot as long as you are able. Would definitely use again if I go back to Rome. Breakfast was typically continental and although a little limited it is good enough to start your day.

Stayed in Hotel Verona for 4 nights in September, The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly. Breakfast could be better. Location is ok if you don't mind walking 30 minutes to the city centre or taking bus.

Room Tip: be sure to ask for bigger rooms as they have small onse too and there is no price difference.

Just got back from our stay in Rome, we were there for just 4 days, the rest of the time was spent with family in Sicily, and I have to say it was a decent place to stay. I was worried when reading some of the reviews but it was clean, price was good, and location is great. We were in very close proximity to the Coliseum and we were able to do a lot of site seeing on foot. The hotel staff was mainly friendly, some friendlier than others, but mostly very helpful. Rooms are very small, breakfast wasnt the best but it was free! Would definitely recommend if you're on a tight budget and just want a place to stay to be close to everything when in Rome.

Stayed for 3 nights in August without a reservation. still got a great rate and a comfortable room with real air conditioning. Location was perfect, just 5 minutes to the train station, and within an easy walk of many of the sights Rome has to offer. Front desk staff were excellent. Breakfast was poor, but be sure to ask the server for the optional 'extras' that aren't on display in the buffet room (eggs, meat, cheese).

Room Tip: rooms have modern windows so even street-facing rooms are quiet at night.

Hotel Verona offers great value and an even better location. Its clean, and while very basic, comfortable. Good breakfast in the AM, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It does require you to climb stairs, so not ideal for handicapped travellers. I would stay there again.
