I found the Hotel rather comfortable ,since firstly it was a short drive of 15-20 mins from the airport and since I was going to arrive very late at night, this was the major criterion for me while choosing the Hotel. Even the Hotel was very good with big and spacious rooms (unlike the rooms for the other Mercure Hotels which I have stayed before). The breakfast laid out was also good with lot of varieties. Overall I found the Hotel to be a fantastic one.

We have stayed 1 night as a couple.

+ Spacious room with lots of bathroom amenities. Tea/Coffee set, free bottle of water.
+ Not new, but very clean.
+ Nice staff.
+ Good bed with 2 different pillows
+ Fast internet in lobby (it's coupon-based, but works perfectly)

- Sleep quality. The ventilation system is very noisy and you can hear it everywhere
- No free internet in the room (though Accor hotels have announced it will be free)
- Location. It is very far from Rome center. In order to reach it, you need to use metro line B till EUR Fermi station and then catch the 705 bus. Bus driver doesn't know where the hotel is, you need to ask local people where is the post (posta in italian) and get off at the next station. If you come to Rome for sightseeing, don't choose it as it takes about 1 hour to reach the Termini station.

It is very close to the airport (15 minutes by car), but the transfer is very expensive (€40). If you don't want to pay this price, you'll have to spend 1 hour to reach Termini and 30-60 minutes to reach Fiumicino (if you choose the train, you'll spend same €40, but will waste time). Since the hotel is significantly cheaper than those centrally located, we have decided to use airport transfer as our flight was quite early. It was very nice (Mercedes E350), but very expensive in my opinion.

Breakfast is €15 and express breakfast is €3.5 (coffee and croissant). It is not included in your room rate. Also, the city tax is €3 per person per day (we have stayed in the center of Rome and paid €2 per person).

There is a good restaurant nearby (la Bomboniera). In order to reach it, you should turn left after you leave the hotel, go till filling station (Agip) and keep the road side. There will be some shops and the restaurant. 1 Pizza + 2 Pasta (very big portions) + 1 small bottle of wine + 1 bottle of water = €33.

I'd recommend the hotel if you're ok with spending €40 for airport transfer.

Room Tip: 232 room is noisy. Not sure about other rooms.

Hotel located in the Rome surroundings. Not a good idea if you wish to visit Rome and have no car but excellent if you just need to stop for the night or if you are on business in the area.
I was there just for one night and arrived quite late (10:30 pm). I was happy to hear that the restaurant was till open and I could still have dinner. The room was clean and comfortable (fridge, nice bathroom with hairdryer). I was also advised not to leave my car outside and to use the indoor parking for free.
Low price but excellent quality.

The hotel is clean and tidy. The lobby is really biz oriented.
All the front desk people are more than polite, they make you feel someone well known (it was my first time there].
Rooms are clean and new the perfect solution for a short stay.
Internet access is free only in the lobby but as I said the lobby is really well equipped and it is easy to find a suitable desk.
furthermore the garage is free for the guests.
I was not able to test the swimming pool.

Just spent a week t this hotel ....July 2012....
It is a good hotel ... Nice good sized room with good a/c, fridge etc.
Pool is lovely and well worth the visit _ opens a little late at 10:00am but nice and clean and quiet.
Bar and lobby area are nice though bar service is little slow.
Travel to Rome is via a bus from outside the hotel 705 except Sunday when it is the 130 direct. The 705 goes to EUR Fermi .. 15 mins then from there train direct to Colosseum 10 mins. the 705 does NOT run on Sunday. got to get the 130 back from Rome.
We have no complaints about this hotel. Free WiFi via tickets from lobby..work in rooms too.

Room Tip: We chose the Superior rooms which were a reasonable size and comfortable. Firm beds.

The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is just ok and doesn't worth the money you pay. The major problem with this hotel is that it's too far from either the airport or the city centre. Number 705 from Mondays to Saturdays takes you to the nearest metro station. Number 130 on Sundays takes you to the city centre. Not a very safe area so make sure you check the bus timetable in advance and get off at the right bus stop at night time.
