“A little surprise between quality and attention!!!”

I searched for a good pizzeria in Monti neibourghood. What we found was a secret space with typical italian style kind of trattoria in which fresh ingredient shake hands with delightful flavors. I highly recommend this place because of the kind waiters and the presence of the owner verifyng everything is well. Congratulations and enjoy your pizzas!!

“Good pizza, but...”

The food was good, but they have to learn to serve the maindish to all at the table at the same time. It's not funny for people to wait and se others eat. For so get there food 20 min after ....

“Good food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 13, 2013 via mobile

We are here 3 times during our 9 day stay in Rome -

Our initial encounter was enough to put off most people - We arrived early (We knew this was a no no in Rome but we were starving) on our first night in Rome, it was 655pm we were greeted with a head shake and 7 fingers held in the air and a tap on the watch - we assumed this ment that they were not yet open and to come back at 7 - somewhat bemused we went to an ATM not far away and returned after a little wander at 715pm - we were told by a different staff member who could speak English this time luckily, that they were not ready yet as the pizza oven wasnt hot yet, and to come back at 730, we asked if we could just sit inside and wait - the staff happily agreed.

- We persisted with our choice of this location due to its reviews on trip advisor its proximity to our hotel in Monti and our forewarning from our hotel clerk that we shouldnt expect friendly conversation or welcoming staff in the local Monti kitchens/restaraunts but the food will be so good you can overlook the service.

The food was a win -we started with the garlic and oil brushetta, so deliciously garlicy!! Hubby had a pasta and I had a pizza and we were both happy and full after our meals and the price was reasonable. We ate something different each time we came here and never came away unhappy or hungry.

I can understand why people would get their noses out of joint about the service, but I think some of the initial problem stemmed from the obvious language barrier - the other times we came here to eat all around 8pm (a much more appropriate time in Rome we have learnt) there would always be someone working who could speak English to make life a little easier for us tourists.

If you think you can 'look the other way' so to speak in regards to service (which was really no worse than most places we ate in Rome, it's definately a norm here) - I would recomend you come and eat here

“Worst service I have ever been”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 12, 2013 via mobile

It's the first time I left a restaurant without eat because of the bad service.

We waited at least one hour and ask about three times. Every time answers in unclear mixed Italian just let us wait.

We can consider there are not few other customers so it could take time.

BUT when we found who came AFTER us already finished their meal, we divided to leave without eat.

I guess because we only order the main meal without starter and drink, for them is small money, they just want us wait or never care of us.

BTW, when we just left out to the door, our pasta immediately showed up like a magic.

I never recommend who want only a main meal to eat in this restaurant or u should wait till you almost become mad.

Amazing food! Seriously huge yummy pizza and very really delicious lasagna. The manager was fantastic and our waitress was very attentive. They made our 10 year anniversary an unforgettable experience. Prices are very decent.
