“Really good find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 20, 2014

Excellent hotel with friendly, welcoming and quietly efficient staff who were always available with useful advice if requested. Rooms are relatively spacious with all the facilities you'd expect at a 4* hotel. Extra bonus was we had a jacuzzi arrangement in the bath. Booked via Avios (UK)website and got a really good deal. Breakfast is substantial and what you need to set you up for a day braving the tourist hoardes in the city. Convenient for the Metro (Castro Pretorio, blue line), main line trains and the metro (red & blue) at Roma Termini , the main bus station and lots of local eateries. Not on a main thoroughfare so surrounding area is pretty quiet at night. Unusual feature is there is no wallpaper; all walls are covered in fabric and padded. Agree with comments about the bed and pillows but didn't detract in any way from the overall quality of the hotel. When we return to Rome, we'll stay here.

If you are looking for a nice quiet hotel that's clean and welcoming then look no further. It is situated a short walk from Termini Station where there are links to all the major sights. On arrival we were greeted by Dimitris who made us very welcome and over our week long stay he was extremely helpful and a mine of information on where to go, where to eat etc. be sure to make his acquaintance. The hotel does a nice breakfast and there are numerous eating establishments only a short walk away serving very good food at reasonable prices. If we decide to visit Rome again we will definitely be booking this hotel.

Booked via Priceline-Very Friendly- great breakfast- very nice staff. Dmitri went out of his way to arrange drivers and restaurants and a late checkout. The bathroom was spacious and had adequate amenities. The location was perfect for our onward travel plans.
Be aware- the mattress on the bed is hard and the pillows are feather. This is standard across Europe. If you are expecting the type of bed you would get in America at a say Sheraton- don't book here. We were very happy with our room.

We were in a pinch and booked this hotel last minute. It was what we expected. The bed is terrible and the pillow are absolutely disgusting. I asked for non-feather pillows though and those were OK. The rest of the room was what you would expect in Rome... small, paper thin walls, sort of dirty. But other than the bed and pillows it was acceptable. Whatever you do just don't use their pillows!

The only other thing I would say is that one of the staff members, the one who checked us in and out, was very rude and very slow. The other man sea death with at the front desk was nice. Very good location, close to the train station and walkable to many of the sites.

April 2014 So glad we stayed here! There are so many options in the big city, it can be overwhelming. This is a great choice!

If you want a moderate, convenient, clean, good location (2 blocks from Main Termini Station bus and train), 15-20 minute walk to Colleseum or Trevi Fountain and for ROME, affordable, then book this hotel!

Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms (our had a jetted tub. Great for weary feet after walking all day). We had a room with a rollaway too, for our teenager.
They have a small breakfast room on the lower level. Hot breakfast! Made to order espresso or latte for no extra charge. Loved our waiter there, SO friendly. Wish I could remember his name.

If you want 4-5 star hotel, this is not for you.

At first I wasnt too sure about the neighborhood, but it's ROME! Everything is close together & old. Thanks Dimitri at the front desk. You were terrific!

Terrible rooms, dirty and you could hear the people in the next room as if they were inside your room.
Towels were dirty. Had to ask for new towels and blankets several times before finally receiving them.
Ok location.
The Greek man in the reception was nice.
