“Great taste good price”

I ordered Slice beef with mushrooms "Tagliata ai sapori di bosco" and it was perfect. Worth for 17? only. My friend ordered "Tonnarelli al tartufo e guanciale" was the best food we ate here... Must try!

“True Roman Hospitality”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 28, 2013

With a 5 day visit to Rome ahead of us, we did not have time to waste on trialling local restaurants, so turned to trip advisor, our trusty aide which guided us to this off beat locals restaurant. Don't be fooled by it's exterior or the off piste location. If you want to experience fantastic locally sourced food and drink, served in a typically Roman style without breaking the bank, this has got to be on the to do list. Rosanna & Francesco? were superb mine hosts and despite our distinct lack of Italian they guided us through a veritable feast of local cuisine, which was superbly cooked. Particularly good was the local anti pasta and the second course of Abruzzo lamb skewers. Our only worry is that with only a short visit planned to Rome, we may not have time to visit again.

“Local and Authentic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2012

First experience of roman food with my wife. This small local place was excellent, the food was top notch and the welcome warm. Not on the tourist trail. We went at lunch, it filled up quickly with locals, we had to share our 6 person table with others, no biggy just added to the authenticity. Salad buffet was great and hot plates very tasty, carafes of local wine excellent and great value.

“Nice family run place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2012

I was led to the place by TA reviews and had a pretty nice meal. Its a simple place, locals only and the food was fine. Husband explained the menu in decent english and wife seemed to be the cook, in particular the maker of the dolce. Many items on the menu were not available - I dont think they get much business. The only other people there was a guy in dirty t-shirt finishing off a liter ptcher of wine, and a pleasant family group who were obviously close friends of the proprieters. The owners were very attentive and kind. They convinced me to get a selection of 3 cakes for dolce, which were the highlight of the meal. Price was very reasonable. If you are a group of visitors, would be attractive place, as you would have it to yourself plus great attention. Was quite inexpensive.
