Nice Stay

The hotel was clean and our room was spacious. We ordered room service for breakfast twice and delivery was very prompt.

The property feels like a resort and the pool is a nice extra especially after being a tourist in the 90+ degree heat.

The location was a little bit further than we had wanted, but, it was worth it as the hotels that were closer to the attractions were certainly not as nice and even appeared run down. Cabs were always available at the hotel and most rides cost anywhere between $15 - $20 euros. Otherwise, you can utilize the shuttle that is provided by the hotel for a very small cost if it fits into your schedule.

Roma Site Seeing

We last stayed here in 2005.The breakfast remains good but before it was amazing with white table cloths and a pianist playing. However it is still good. The hotel was very busy and twice in the late afternoon our rooms had not been serviced which we had to chaser to get done. The hotel is well positioned for the airport and the main sites and the shuttle bus is a good asset. I asked a receptionist to call a restaurant for us ,when returning she had not yet phoned and was on her personal phone scrolling through, which was unprofessional. Overall we were happy with our stay and the beds are super comfortable, however the staff could be sharper. Some are very good and some are going through the motions.

Five star rating. My family enjoyed the breakfast menu as well as the restaurant. The pool was exceptioal for the children. Personally loved havind thr ironand ironing board in the room which we did not find in our other hotl stays in Italy. Will highly recommend the Crowne Plaza Rome St. Peter's.

Great location for family holiday to Rome

This was our first trip to Rome with our children aged 15 and 10. We knew that any trip to Rome entails a lot of walking in hot temperatures visiting places that can be very busy. The hotel offered a perfect counterpoint, providing cool air conditioned rooms, a fabulous outdoor pool and bar area serving delicious salads and pizza etc. The hotel was a short bus ride from Vatican City and Castel St Angelo. We tended to walk to other sights; the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, The Forum etc etc, as this still seems best way to soak up the atmosphere, the sights, architecture of this most amazing city. The Crowne Plaza provided a glorious comfortable refuge for relaxing after some long, tiring, glorious days. We cannot wait to return!

Convenient for the Jet Lagged (and Kids & Pets)

We stopped here for the night after traveling from LAX back to our place in Umbria. The hotel was easy to get to from the airport (about 30 mins) and it was a simple, relaxing stay even with a piano player tickling the ivories as we walked in.

There is a restaurant and breakfast was a great value for the price (even included mimosas as you wish. I think we were there at a busy time (end of August) as they weren't too flexible with the check-out time which was disappointing needing to sleep in and not being able to really use the amenities but that was because we had a dog with nowhere to go.

Would absolutely stay here again & it was so convenient after traveling so many hours to find a hot meal, a place to park and a comfortable bed.
