We had dinner here on Saturday 18th May and had a great experience. The staff were extremely accommodating and all the food was cooked perfectly and very tasty.

Had a fantastic lunch here, salt cod, bruschetta and suppli to start with followed by some of the best pizza in a long time. All washed down by a couple of bottles of fantastic wine. Staff are very friendly and great atmosphere, can't recommend enough. Please avoid the dodgy places on the main squares and come here instead!

We ate lunch here 3 times over a 2 week period and thoroughly enjoyed it all 3 times. Good home cooked food. Wide choice including wood fired pizza and a lunch buffet (9 euros) which included lasagna, vegetables, soup and salad. Great value, warm service, excellent food. A real gem. Mama's home cooked chocolate and pear pie is fantastic.

My son and I walked in late one night on our way home to our B & B, not knowing what to expect in the darkish atmosphere. We sat at the very back of the restaurant, near the buffet, surrounded by lots of memorabilia of their Rugby Union team - photos, guernseys, etc., which delighted my son. I had the cold buffet for 9 euros, which suited me fine as there were lots of vegetarian dishes. My son had a steak which he enjoyed, with the most amazing potato "chips" - I don't think that's what they were called - thinly sliced, cooked in oil, crispy, salted and with cheese - the best we've ever eaten! It sounds from other reviews that we should have tried the fabulous desserts - we'll have to do that next time.

A wonderful little gem on a little back street. The food was well cooked and there was good choice and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We liked it so much that we went back twice, which says something in a city with so many fabulous places to eat.
