This hotel is tucked among shops, restaurants, metro stop and less than a block from the Trevi Fountain. I stayed there with family for a few days in December and we enjoyed walking by the fountain almost every time we left the hotel. The area is very walkable with many excellent restaurants nearby. Our room was large and well furnished with windows and shutters that guests can open and close. Free wi-fi and complimentary breakfast in the lobby add to the convenience. Staff were very helpful and friendly as they switch seamlessly from one language to another. I would definitely return.

Great hotel in the perfect location if you’re spending a few days or even a week in Rome. We spent three nights here prior to a cruise and it offers a great ambience of old Rome and is situated in a location that allows you to walk to most of the major sights. It is right next to the Trevi Fountain and plethora of great restaurants/shopping/etc. Rooms are spacious with fine vintage décor and staff was extremely gracious and helpful.

The hotel was located in the centre of Rome, extremely clean, extremely close to "must see" places in the historical centre. The breakfast was almost exceptional, the reception was always very helpful -even in english language-, though i cannot really understand the charge of an extra fee- city tax/(contributo di soggiorno) when checking out, with no previous notice in the beginning??? Other than that, it was neat hotel.

My mother and I stayed there in May. We had a lovely room that had a balcony looking into a courtyard. The hotel is old with narrow hallways but the rooms are big and all modern with nice bathrooms. You walk out the front door and turn right and you are at the Trevi Fountain. You walk out the door and turn left and you are on the road that heads to the Spanish steps. It is also an easy taxi ride to the Vatican but you could walk there if inclined.
The staff were very friendly and the breakfast area was very good with a wide buffet variety.
There are lots of cute little restaurants around the Trevi Fountain and there are people around till all hours. there is a gelato shop off the fountain and in the back they sell pizza by the slice.. best pizza I've ever had... they price it by weight. which is great as the margerita is cheap and the more you have on top then the more it weighs and therefore costs.. makes sense.. The fountain goes on all night so it can be quite loud if you stay right there but the Delle Nazioni is just around the corner and you don't get the fountain noise.
I would stay there again if I went back to Rome.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that overlooks the centre courtyard. You will get less road and fountain noise

Beds are hard, water not very hot for showers, breakfast good. Concierge very helpful. Wifi only in hotel Lobby needed to log in with password every time. Don't bother updating to junior suite, can gave a king bed in cheaper room

Room Tip: Very noisy on street side,

First, the pros:

We chose this hotel based on location alone. It is in the heart of Rome -- just steps away from the Trevi fountain. While it's a bit chaotic when you turn the corner during peak tourist hours (the peddlers at the fountain are ridiculously annoying), the hotel is peaceful and quiet. We literally walked EVERYWHERE from our hotel - Colosseum, Vatican, Termini station, you name it.

We had a room on the 5th floor with a balcony, which we loved. It was too cold to stay outside at night, but we enjoyed mimosas many mornings because the weather was beautiful. It was very small but you're going to get this in EU, so just accept it. Besides, you're likely to not be in your room much. We were always on the go!

The breakfast was decent, but nothing to write home about. We really wanted to experience Rome so we ended up going out to cafes on most mornings instead.

The Cons:

The staff at the hotel (with the exception of an older gentleman at the front desk) was extremely unfriendly. We are used to walking into a hotel and having the receptionist at least greet us with a smile. Here they never even looked at you and if they did, they just looked you up and down. When we checked out it was even worse. We were treated very rudely (and mind you, we spent a lot of money!)

Housekeeping was a bit to handle. We had put "do not disturb" many mornings (and it was pretty early before 9am) but they ignored it and buzzed constantly. When we said we were still in the room, they proceeded to rudely ask when we'd be gone. They even left their cleaning supplies outside our room as a hint that they were WAITING.

The bathroom shower was not great. It was so small with hardly any door/cover so you were standing there freezing. Not a big deal though.

All in all this hotel was a good one. We were satisfied based on location alone (when in Rome that's all that really matters, right?) and the room itself was nice and clean. The balcony was a huge plus with a nice view. Would recommend to couples especially, since it is RIGHT near the Trevi and so romantic at night :) Just don't expect a warm welcome!

First trip to Europe. Rome is overwhelming to the newbie traveller. Finding the hotel was an interesting experience. There are so many hotels. But once my husband and I found the hotel, we couldn't understand how we struggled to find it in the first place. We walked from the subway station. Loved our stay. Great breakfast offered. Great location, near all the shops. Near the Trevi fountain. Clean room, clean linens. Great seperate shower and bathtub in our room. Loved it!! Highly recommend. My husband and I were in Rome twice during our trip. Booked a different hotel the second time, just so we could be in a different location of Rome. But would definately stay here again!
