Very nice hotel in a perfect location. The room was very quiet, we got the best rest we had in two weeks in Italy. The staff was professional, courteous, and just plain friendly. We plan on going back to Rome next year for Valentines Day, and it will be the Hotel Amalia. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. The Vatican is less than a five minute walk, St. Peters is right there too. Plenty of shops, eateries, and things to do. The Metro is less than two blocks away. Some of the reviews on here spooked us, but we couldn't be more pleased with our stay. Thank you Hotel Amalia!

Room Tip: We had room 503, it was perfect.

Thank you very much for your kind review.
Regarding the reviews not positive, they are part of the hotel because we are not perfect, but to compensate for our failures you will find the attention of the Staff of Hotel Amalia Vaticano .

This cute, warm and cozy charming hotel never fails. My second visit in two years, was so happy to see leonardo and maria still working there. Two of the finest hotel employees ever. Leonardo is a class act, nothing is to much trouble. Everything is handled perfectly with a sincere smile. The hotel is located right near the vatican and next to metro trains and busses. Safe, quiet and central. The price is perfect. I shall return.

Thank you for your review.
It was our pleasure to accommodate you again.
A small initial drawback, resolved thanks to the communication. That remembers us that the connections between human beings illuminated from the just feelings cannot be replaced from the "world of the technologies".

We stayed over the Christmas holidays and it was wonderful. Location wise, it is very close to the Vatican. The hotel itself is very clean, breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We just recently returned from an 8 day stay at Hotel Amalia. We stayed on the 5th floor in a Superior Quad Room. The room was very big. There was a large sofa bed, desk, tv and refrigerator in one room and a king size bed with a television in the other room. A door seperated the two rooms for privacy. I was very pleased with the size of the bathroom. There was a large bathtub with a shower included. The water would get as hot as you liked in the shower. I like a hot shower so I was surprisingly pleased. The room was exceptionally cleaned when we got there and the cleaning staff always did a good job of tidying up our room everyday. We had free internet access which was a big plus. Our room included breakfast. The breakfast room was very small but we got there early and were always the only ones in there so this was not a problem for us. The pastries and bread were delicious and the man that worked in the breakfast room was always pleasant. The staff downstairs were very friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The hotel is very close to the metro station, st peter's basillica and the Sistine Chapel. There was also plenty of bus stops near the hotel. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome, especially if you would like to be near the vatican area. I always felt safe in the area and had no problem finding my way around town.

Room Tip: Ask for a superior room and book early for best rates.
