Good location (near Termini Station). A little bit unpleasant neighbohood, but - even so - close to Subway and walking distance to Coliseo and other attractions.
The carpet was smelly, the shower box was really tiny and amenities were bad.
The breakfast was poor, including cold coffee.
Definitely the whole hotel needs a renovation..
Not even close to 2 stars.
We've been in a 3 star hotel 2 blocks away that was much better...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days and found the hotel and service there very helpful. Our room was more than what we expected and was a great experience for our first time in Europe. Staff, very friendly and helpful. We arrived on Sept 10th. Weather was pretty good and only rained one day. The city was truly amazing. Everything we needed was within a few blocks. Bus, train, and restaurant and shopping.

Room Tip: English channels on tv were few. Slight noise from AC. They had a small elevator or you could choose...

Really good location. Walking distance from Termini station and Rome Center.
Our first room was changed as we found dirty towels... Reception offered free upgrade to very nice junior suit.
It was in better conditions however still run down and dirty. A/C vent was really full of dirt and dust. Thank God we did not have to use it. Hotel provide free Wi-Fi but not working in the room.
Good for one night and only if you are desperate.

Room Tip: Book only if you are desperate or don't care about cleanliness.

This hotel maybe looks old and uncomfortable, but is a very good hotel.
As well the price as the comfort is good.
The hotel with roof terrace on which every morning breakfast is served gives you a pleasant view over the old Rome city.

In walking distance you can find the Collosseum, Vatican city, Spanish stairs, ..... and even within 10min the Termini train station which gives good access to airports.

It was a good location, but the room was a bit run down, smelled & we found several hairs. They also said they provided internet, but it wouldn't work in the room.

Overall, nice enough, but only as a cheap option.

Pros: Close enough to Termini to walk with luggage
Lots of cafe's, gelato, restaurants, souvenirs, ATM, department store, vendors nearby.
Friendly, helpful front desk
Huge breakfast selection, meats, cereals, pastries, cheese, eggs, etc. Very nice
Lovely old, classic decor and touches. Nice size rooms/bathrooms
Shutters and double glaze windows. Quiet.
Wonderful large roof terrace with fantastic views of Basilica and other roof tops.
Cons: Hard to see hotel from outside as their sign is made of wrought iron on a huge canopy
which blends in with it and is indistinguishable from afar.

This is an old fashioned, not quite grand, but a great hotel with lots of marble and old classic
decor and touches, so if you are looking for modern this is not for you.

I would definitely stay again

Paid $150 USD for single which is a very good price for such a nice place in Rome.

Room Tip: I had a single (103) overlooking the street below and side view of the basilica, very quiet at nigh...

Stayed here for a couple of nights recently. Very good location, only a couple minutes walk from Termini, near to restaurants and bars. Service in the hotel was excellent, stayed in room 501, very big room by Rome standards.
