We were a group of 2kid ( 10/12y/o) and 4 adults. Booked 2 "family rooms with 2 king beds". Called 2 days ahead to notify them that we arriving late at 11pm. When we arrived they didn't have our rooms. The next day they moved us but not into the rooms we had booked or paid for ahead of time. We were supposed to have WiFi and every day for 5 days we called asking them to fix it and they would reply ( ok I'll reset the server, wait 15min, 30mins 1hours--- basically to put you off) they never ever fixed. The service was horrible!!. The location is terrible. It is in a residential area and 5-10 min walk from the metro and 3-4 stops away from downtown for food or entertainement. What is worse is that on the very last day they shut off our electricity at midnight. When we awoke at 7am we had no lights. We called down and they said " you checked out already if you want electricity come down and get a new card". We asked them what time was check out they replied 12 pm. So then they turned on just the lights and not the outlets so we couldn't blow dry our hair. This was absolutely outrageous. Please please avoid this hotel. I feel awful that I listened to the other reviews and booked my family to stay here. We couldn't wait to leave Rome because of the horrible hotel, its location and service. Best Western should be ashamed to have their name associated with this hotel. I don't believe they have a " family room with 2 king beds" it is false advertising and we did not get the room we paid for!.I would give this hotel a minus (-) star rating if possible

Room Tip: Don't believe that they have the room advertised or WiFi. Don't expect any help from the front desk they don't have any customer service skills at all.

Im not the type of person to return to a hotel as I like change...but i cant imagine staying anywhere else when I visit room. With the metro sysyem so easy this hotel is perfect for siteseeing. Great value for money, rooms spacious and all have a balcony. Great buffet breakfast and now also possible to have evening meal buffet style. Ok so its not in the pretty part of town and you wont see any tourist sights from your balcony but the staff at this hotel are what makes it so special. Nothing is too much and its like a home from home. Note there is no bar in this hotel and the area around it has no night life ...or day life to be honest but a few minutes on the metro and you are close to everything. Lovely for families and very safe.

Great Hotel. In the university area which has it's good points, ie hardly any beggars or thieves hanging about like the rest of the city, well we did have one homeless dude sleeping in the street every night.

Room Tip: great hotel

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Free breakfast was amazing. Rosella, Andrea and the rest of the front desk staff were so helpful and gave us everything that we asked for. Including a kettle for the room for us to have coffee in the morning.

They also made us Boxed breakfasts to take with is every morning b/c we left early to see the tourist sites. We had the buffet breakfast one day- which was excellent - lots of fresh food!

Only complaint is that sometimes the free WIFI signal was not that strong - we stayed on the 4th floor. Do ask for a higher floor with a balcony for a nice view of the city. Hotel is close to Termini station - but I wouldn't walk there. Take the 310 bus outside of the hotel and take Tram 319 straight to the Vatican (was 45 min long but nice view of the city)

I would definitely stay in this hotel next time in Rome!

Room Tip: Choose a room on a higher floor with balcony!

The Best Western Globus Hotel is top notch. I stayed with my girlfriend for 3 nights and we were amazed at how charming and helpful the personnel of the hotel was. We got a room in the 3rd floor with a balcony and a huge bathroom. The neighbourhood is not the best but the subway is nearby so you can get to central rome in 20 minutes.
