“Very quiet”
Reviewed April 18, 2014 via mobile

Great hotel. Near parliament building so police presence around the hotel at all time. We love the nightlife of Rome, but when ready to sleep we want quiet. This was ideal hotel for us. Close to everything, walking distance to all major sites

This location is excellent, close to Pantheon, Trevi and Navona. But that's all. Rooms are average, not particularly comfortable, rathee old. There is a noisy side street by room 104 so be careful. In general It is overpriced for what you get.

Room Tip: Be careful with noisy side street.

I treated my husband to the weekend in Rome for his 40th. This hotel was recommended to us and it exceeded our expectations. They upgraded us to an executive room and it was amazing - very lavish whilst traditional in design. Huge high decorated ceilings and enormous windows that opened onTo the square. Its location is so close to all the main attractions and the shopping area but yet it is really quite as it is set back away from any traffic. The reception area is cosy and inviting and the staff are very friendly and
veryhelpful. On our return to Rome we wouldn't consider
staying anywhere else but here.

We spent 9 nights in this hotel. Location is great - you walk everywhere. Hotel is very clean. Excellent breakfast. Great staff, very helpful and friendly, answered all our quesions, requests and far beyond that. This hotel made our Rome vacation wonderful. If we ever come back to Rome, we'll certainly use this hotel.

Room Tip: Back rooms are very quiet and the internet works better than in the front rooms.

Stayed for 10 days of touring Rome and could walk to most places in the city. Attractions, restaurants, shops, historical sites all within walking distance. Rooms very large with all amenities from coffee and tea to wifi. Could not ask for more.

Room Tip: make sure you get large room or room and a half.

I stay at this hotel for work and you cannot beat the location. You are in the middle of everything. The staff at the front desk are wonderful and knowledgeable people. There are some newer rooms and some older rooms. You don't know what you're going to get. Also, the layout of the rooms can be quite interesting. I prefer to not have one on the street side because it can get a little loud. Also, the elevators are small and sometimes you'll need to go up a few steps to get to your room, so try and pack light. Right around the corner is Giolitti, a famous gelateria. There is always a line there.
I cannot say enough good things about the staff at the front desk. They are exceptional.
