Hotel Nazionale offers great location in the centre, close to the both parliamentary buildings, but also to the famous sights like Foro Romano, Colosseo or Vatican City with the St. Peter´s Cathedral. Very cose to the hotel is also Patheon, Fontain di Trevi and Spanish steps. The hotel itself is clean and looks great, but if you look closer, there are cracks in the paintings, the wardrobe doors are damaged and some electric equipment is not working. Rooms in the 1st floor are noisy because of the watter tubes around. The great thing is breakfast - huge choise and great self-made cappucino!! The hotel is not bad, but it is not worth of its cost, unfortunatelly...

Room Tip: Rooms with the square view in a higher floor are the best choise

Location counts a lot with us and this couldn't be better. It seemed to be a 20 minute or shorter walk to everything. It's very safe, clean, great breakfast, and a nice bar to get a nightcap in the evening. Next time we go to Rome we will stay here again.

This hotel is next to the Parliament building, very secure area and close to the Pantheon. It is walking distance to the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Colosseum, the Forum and the Borghese Gardens. No buses or subways needed. You can walk all day and come back and shower before going out for dinner. Hotel room was large, clean and a view of the Parliament buildings. Prepaid to save money. Computer available in seperate large room off of lobby, no charge if usuage under 10 minutes. Breakfast was more than expected, cheese, cold cuts, eggs, cereal, fruit, sweets and more. Staff very helpful and english very good. Would definitely stay here again.

Recently stayed at this hotel; for the money I had great expectations. Best thing was the location and the friendly barman. Room was large but not overly comfortable. Shower sprayed everywhere and didnt seem possible to contain the water inside the bath with the small glass screen. Breakfast was ok, but the usual fare of croissants, bread, ham, cheese and fruit. Would not got back.

The location was perfect as it was close to most of the main sights. Breakfast was pretty good and definitely enough to tide you over until lunch. The room was nice and had all of the usual comforts-even washcloths in the bathroom! Housekeeping was great, and they came twice a day. We loved our 6th floor view. We could see St Peter's. Can't say enough about the location. It was so close to everything yet you could easily be on a quaint, less traveled street within a minute. My husband and I will stay here again on our next trip to Rome. It was our favorite among other hotels throughout Italy!

We booked this hotel as it's so close to the Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, the Pantheon is just 2 minutes away, we even walked to the Vatican and it only took us about 20mins. We had a room on the 4th floor, no view but we never spent much time in our room. It was extremely quiet which was fantastic. Breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of choice. Good choice for a 3 day stay. Many thanks to all the wonderful staff!
