“Perfect location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 6, 2013

We stayed at the Boscolo Palace for a long weekend last April on a room only basis. We had an unusual but spacious suite on the first floor but I was disappointed to find no bath, only a shower. The bed was very comfortable and other than no bath we were very happy with the room. There were no tea and coffee making facilities however, so we had to order it to be delivered each morning but it was lovely when it arrived. We didn't eat in the hotel except for a few little extras that were available in the bar with drinks.

The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times and we were most impressed. The hotel was in a very central location with easy access to all the main sights. There were a number of excellent restaurants within less than five minutes walk and unless you have a disability all the main attractions are within a walkable distance. We did intend to take one of the buses around the city but in the end we didn't need to.

I would recommend this hotel for its staff and location.

This hotel is in a great location! The bus stop is two blocks away and will take you to the train. The Vatican and Coliseum is a 15 minute train ride. Trevi Fountain is in walking distance. The service is phenomenal and the breakfast was equally phenomenal. The staff here truly understands and appreciates service. We stayed here for two nights and at the Marriot Grand Flora two nights. Prior to leaving we were torn between the two, so we played it safe and split our stay. I wish we stayed at the Boscolo the entire time! The rooms are very modern!

Great location on Via Veneto, easy short walk to Spanish steps with lots of amazing shops, fabulous restaurants and clubs. Helpful informative staff, we really enjoyed our stay. And it's a Marriott so we earned our points!

We booked this hotel on Marriott points. Having traveled to Europe many times, we were expecting a small, closet of a room. That was definitely not the case, we were blown away by how spacious, clean and well-appointed the room was. We had a wonderful view of the via venetto and the American embassy was just across the street. The french doors opened to a balcony that you could enjoy the comings and goings below. We walked to several places nearby and really enjoyed the area. We had breakfast in the hotel and it was fabulous as well as dinner there one night. We were not disappointed. The food and staff were great! We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights before our cruise and it was an awesome diversion. The bathroom was well equipped with different body washes, shampoos, conditioners and lotions with amazing fragrances to sample. There were so many, you would have had to stay there for a week to try them all. The shower was very large with body sprayers so you felt like a king! I would definitely recommend this property.

Hotel is to an excellent standard of cleanliness, location and service as you would expect for the price. Agreed the price is high but sometimes you need to treat yourself and this hotel doesnt disappoint.

As a side note make sure you are not dressed up when arriving at the hotel purely for the sheer enjoyment of the pompous door man giving you a look of disdain as you walk towards him to watch it melt away into a sycophantic smile and welcome.

Located on the chic Via Venetto, you are minutes from the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and Borghese Gardens. We walked EVERYWHERE from here! The concierge was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and arrangements. The rooms were modern, clean and chic. My girls loved it. The rooms were spacious for European standards, and we even added a roll away bed. Breakfast at the hotel was great, the view from any room seemed awesome!

I am travel for work and have been Platinum with Marriott for the last 6 years. I booked this hotel while on a trip with my parents and wife. Booked 2 regular rooms (using points) and got upgraded to a Jr. Suite with adjoining Queen standard room. The room was very modern and well appointed; the couch looked very cool but wasn’t the most comfortable. Internet was free, breakfast was only included for me, everyone else would have to pay.
The bathroom had a tub and a rainfall shower (separate). Additionally, instead of shampoo and conditioner, there were 5 or 6 choices of body wash, shampoo and conditioner. We felt very pampered; robes and slippers in the armour.

The Staff was very helpful.

Location is great. It is not in the middle of everything, but just on the edge. There is a metro station close by that will get you quickly across town.

I like the Boscolo brand so much, I just booked one of their rooms for a long weekend in Venice. It is a great deal if you are using points!
