This hotel was very good. The service was good, the breakfast was excellent and we had wifi in our room. It was clean, modern and a comfortable bed. The Palatino was right at the Coleseum and near to many things to see and do.

We spent 2 nights at the hotel as part of a 'luxury' coach tour. The location to the Colloseum is fantastic- literally a stone"a throw away.
The hotel itself has very little to offer- unhelpful day reception staff, very basic rooms with poor facilities- the heating is pre set and cannot be altered- felt like I spent time in a furnace, the pillows were rock hard and the reception forgot to give the early morning call! Breakfast merely filled a space! Even the concierge's suggestion to a restaurant was dismal.

Stayed with Insight vacations. Great place to start our Italian holiday. Room was small but more than adequate. Modern feel and very clean. Bathroom was also small, clean and fresh.
Excellent free wi fi in reception and lounge. Breakfast was your typical Italian style with plenty to choose from, fresh and well organised. Obviously the wow factor of this hotel is it's location, walking distance to colosseum and other attractions, plus great restaurants on the doorstep.
Overall this hotel just had a great feel about it. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it.

There are hundreds of hotels nearby,if you want to be treated like dirt, this is the hotel for you,if not, stay somewhere else.DO NOT go to the bar located in front of this hotel,it's a scam and the hotel management knows about it and will boldy laugh at your face.Bar name you asked?Mi Amore.

Room Tip: Avoid headaches and stay somewhere else.

Yes, this is a tourist hotel. What would you expect a mere 5 minute downhill walk to the Coliseum?? How close can you get to the perfect spot?? The room was small but adequate for 3 adults. The bathroom was older and clean. The breakfast room was very busy, well stocked for an expanded continental breakfast. I passed on the wet eggs and fatty bacon. The pastries were very fresh and the coffee good.

Room Tip: ask for a room at the back. It fronts on a very busy street.

We stayed here for two nights as part of our tour from gate 1 travel. Very nice location. 5 minute walk to the collosseum and roman forum. And lots of souviner shops and restaurants.
Our room were very nice. Spacious, clean and comfortable mattresses and pillows. Free Wifi at the lobby only, they charge €5 per hour for wifi from your room.
Breakfast buffet is suferb! Lots of choices. I recommend this hotel!

We spent two nites at the Palatino and thoroughly enjoyed its location. Right across the street was St. Peter's in Chains church which is a must see. Lots of nice cafés and shops on the street. You are only couple of blocks from the Colosseum. We could actually see it from our room. Our room was clean and nicely appointed.
