Yes this hotel is close to my destinations but BEWARE OF hotel charges and its staff...when I checked in around 5PM, this check-in guy wanted to see my passport...WHO THE HELL CHECKS PASSPORTS? I just have come from PARIS AND and HOTEL their didnt check my passport...I understand, they might want to see an ID but the guy was like passport...I didnt argue I handed over the passport and since you have to pay for the WIFI, I got 24 hours for E25...and when I checked out, the guy was like E35 and when I questioned he was E10 for city taxes...who charges 50% taxes? SInce, I had only 2 1/2 hours to the airport, I didnt argue..PLUS THEY HAD BED BUGS even though, I was in the newer rooms on the 7th floor, and they DO NOT CHANGE THE LINENS unless you request it which I found out on my last stay as I noticed my sheets were not changed....and their breakfast is OK until I saw HAIR in the SALAD...too disgusting and all nearby shops like to RIP off Tourists...they charged me E7 for two bottles of water and 3 bananas.....I went to eat in Paris too and went to mini market but they charged me appropriately....these people are FRAUDS stay away from the HOTEL...AND THEIR WIFI DIDNT EVEN WORK PROPERLY

We were not expecting much out of this hotel when we first booked it, and the hotel really exceeded our expectations. The location was incredible - if you walk down the street of Cavour, you reach the Forum. If you look down any of the streets, it's less than a 5 minute walk to the Colliseum. It was also pretty close to the city center. The metro was literally around the corner which made getting to the Vatican much easier.

The room was clean and spacious. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. The only negative (very minor) was that the room only had two small windows near the ceiling, but they had power switches to open the blinds and the windows. Just no view or much ventilation, but this didn't bother us at all.

Breakfast was great, lots of options. The service was all right - most of them were friendly enough, but if you're looking to depend on them in terms of concierge service, forget it. The internet was extremely expensive, which surprised us. We ended up paying for 12 hours (not continuous, 12 hours of usage total which helps) for about 20 euros. They do NOT have free internet in their business center, so you'd still have to pay for the service even if you use their computers.

I did thwe tour through Gate 1 travel and it was our first time in ROME. The first impression of the hotel is good. The staff is helpful and courteous. The rooms are small and the beds are light and can move easily. You might hear the voices in the hallway or next room. BUT THERE IS SUCH A PLUS with this Hotel regarding Location. You walk one large block to the Coliseum and three blocks down to the view the Roman Ruins, The Forum which you can do at your lesiure. The Trevi fountain with the church nearby is just amazing site and the spanish steps with the coture stores are another plus all close to the hotel . The stores that are managed by Orientals are NOT necessarily the best deals anymore. We had an Italian painter signing our purchased photos in sepia and watercolor. Then there are the merchants with knockoff items at good prices and genuine leather. We looked for items actually carrying made in Italy on the item. This hotel has a shower bath with a revolving type of glass curtain which can leak. So does the hotel in Paris. This was not my favorite but the water was hot when needed. We loved the breakfast offered the eggs, bacon which tastes like Canadian bacon, juices, cheeses, meats, and their Italian coffee was plentiful. There is a grocery store on the opposite side to the left when you exit the hotel and also to the left on the side of the hotel is a nice restaurant offering GIANT MUSSLES, Bufalo cheese with tomatoe which you can drizzle with olive oil for appetizer and the smoothest wine. With all the walking, we slept very well on the light matresses. There is a Phillips tv. There is a hair dryer. The staff helped with the internet. They are Italians and offer us their services and help to make our trip more enjoyable. We appreciated that. There is a book store at the end of the block where you may purchase Italian cookbooks in different languages. We both loved our stay here. The staff would call and confirm our transfers .

I agree with the previous reviews. This place has a great breakfast, great location central to all sights and great places to eat. Only drawback is a lot of tours, with a lot of kids.Stayed in Rm 520 at end of hallway (first rm was smoking ask for a new room and the porter called the desk and they changed me right away)this rm was very good.I would stay here again, walk to everything.Ask for a room at the end of the hallway
