We have just returned from a fabulous time in Rome nine nights and six of those we spent eating here! and it wasn't even close to our hotel, but the food was so nice, the service fantastic, and cheap too, a great place to eat and enjoy the moment . The staff make you feel so welcome, and explain the menu to you, a great place to eat, give it a visit, you will return again and again like us.

After reading other reviews on trip advisor about here we decide to give it a go on our first night in Rome. We weren't disappointed, warm and friendly hosts, good fresh bread which for the first time since being in Italy wasn't already stale.
I had grilled meats, and my husband had fillet of beef. Food was lovely.. Good size and well cooked.
Would suggest either booking of going easy as it fills up very quickly and you may have to wait.. Although if you do you might get a free glass to prosecco which seemed to be the norm last night!

We came here on the Rome part of our hunnymoon, we stayed in Venice, Paris, Rome and Vernazza, Tuscany. We also ate in our 5 star hotel in Venice and paid 180 euros! Del Pietro was the best meal we had by far we were stuffed, starter and two main courses! We also had 2 Litres of house white! All this came to 73 euros and in a town as expensive as Rome this is awesome value. Order the spaghetti with bacon and cheese, it will blow you away.

We stopped by here after visiting the Pantheon at night as it is nearby. There are a lot of tourist trap looking places nearby, but this was not one of them. We received excellent service here, and we had a bottle of chardonnay that was surprisingly good! I had the spaghetti carbonera which was incredible! My wife had a cheese ravioli, which was pretty good. My wife absolutely loved her main course, the chicken scollopine (not sure if I spelled that right) with mushrooms. The prices were reasonable here too. Great experience overall!
