“Great food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 14, 2013 via mobile

A small and cosy restaurant near Pantheon, slightly away from the main piazza. Busy during lunch time when we went but service was stil fast and good. Food was very delicious and definitely a big portion. We ordered mushroom spaghetti and ravioli. Very well cooked!
there are so many restaurants around the town especially around the major attractions ( that is hard to pick), but this is one that serve real tasty italian food and worth a visit!! no regret!!
(small tip for travellers in rome: try to avoid eateries with waiters promoting at the front of the shop).

“Disappointing”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 12, 2013

This used to be our favorite restaurant in Rome. It was sold to new owners and is very disappointing now. The food is greasy and not tasty. It should be avoided at all costs.

“Not to miss”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 10, 2013

Went to this restaurant and enjoyed a very delicious meal. Had the cheese platter which is very good. Had the maltagliati al tartufo which is awesome. Had to go for a second time for that plate of pasta. Also had the spaghetti carbonara which is a delight. House wine is also a must have. Definitely a restaurant not to be missed!

“Best place to eat in Rome”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 6, 2013 via mobile

4 days into our week long visit to rome we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. We had been so disappointed with other restaurants in the area that we had found using tripadvisor.
We were warmly welcomed, seated and given a glass of prosecco and a bread basket with oils, olives and tomatoes. The portions are HUGE! I had the carbonara, which was easily the best I have ever tasted! My partner had homemade papadelle followed by the traditional roman dish coda (oxtail). He's a massive foodie and loved every bite! The desserts looked amazing but we were too stuffed! All fairly priced and lovely wine to accompany the meal.
We loved it so much we went back for lunch the next day, something we never do!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

“A little gem near the Pantheon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 6, 2013

We enjoyed a great meal here on our first night in Rome. We were advised by a local about this little three generation, family owned gem. Food and service were both excellent and the fresh minestrone soup was delicious. An unexpected treat was the salad and cheese with the bread. The Roman style artichokes was also very tasty. The generous serving of wine would fill two glasses back in the states. A tip for travelers in a touristy place is not to eat at a restaurant that is hawking tables as you pass by. The very good ones, this one included, do not have to work to fill tables since they get the locals as well as tourists.
