The b&b is located in an awesome position to visit Rome. Everything is within walking distance and/or easily reachable with public transportation. What is really the strong point of this B&B is the friendliness of the owners Lucilla and Alessio. They were really helpful for several things, from suggesting things to visit/ good places were to eat, to organizing transportation to/from the airport.
The breakfast is typical italian, with homemade pies and good cappuccino, the rooms are clean and with private bathroom. Every room has its how style and theme.
I would definitely come back here!

Ciao L&M,

grazie, thanks!! It has been very nice to have some "cervelli in fuga" here at our B&B :) I hope that you'll find your way home always enjoying the travel! Anyway, it has been a real pleasure to welcome you here, and Roma will wait for your visit (as Olanda is waiting for us!)! In the meanwhile I'll send you some carciofi from times to times!

Good luck for the future!

Location. Rooms. Baths. Breakfast. City. All Perfect. But what made our Rome unforgettable were Vera and Lucilla. Genuinely warm, caring, helpful and entertaining; our host standards have been reset. And we've been spoilt. Highest recommendations.

This is a the perfect place to stay if you are going to Rome. Its a relief not to be living close to the Spanish steps and piazza Navonna and the Vatican like so many tourists do. The flat is almost equidistant from all the best tourist sites and located in a very upmarket Rome residential neighbourhood. The restaurants close by and the shops are top class and correctly priced because the clientele is mainly Romans and not tourists. Best Pizza place in Rome is not even 20 metres from the front door, shopping is a 30 second walk. The flat is brand spanking new and so clean that you could eat off the floor. Very well finished in simple neutral colours. The couple who look after it are delightful, charming and just very good people. Probably the least business minded folks I have met in a long time. They are both Ph.d's one in Astrophysics and the other in underwater Physics. So they are educated proud Roman's who can talk to you about so many little things that make a city and a culture so much more interesting. Couldn't do enough for us! Do visit their terrace which has the most amazing view. Don't waste your money on a pricey in the centre hotel, with awful food served at the vast majority of in town restaurants when there are places like this. You will discover so much more of Rome in the short walk it takes to get to the sights. Great continental breakfast served with exquisite coffee and a big smile from your hosts. We won't be staying anywhere else on our next visit to Rome.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience in Domus Quiritum B&B. It located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Close to metro and the Vatican City. Easy to go around. The staff there are very kind. We had great breakfast in the morning. We really want to thank them for giving us so much useful suggestions and information on visiting Rome and experiencing Italian food and Italian life! We had such a wonderful experience. Definitely will choose it again next time.STRONGLY RECOMEND!

My husband and I stayed at this B&B in late October 2012. This was the first stop on our 2 week Italian adventure. (2 nights here, 7 nights in an apartment in Tuscany, 3 nights in a hotel in Venice). Loved. Loved. Loved.

Emiliano communicated with us prior to our arrival (first time to Italy) and helped us set up transportation from the airport to the B&B. Private taxi was not the cheapest way of getting there, but was the best fit for us after a long series of overnight flights from NC to Tortonto to Rome. He greeted us with a lovely breakfast (even though it was after breakfast hours, he knew that we might arrive tired and hungry) and helped us map out a day in Rome (sleep is for wimps!) He gave us exellent advice (in English, we're sadly monolingual) about how to navigate the city...where we could walk versus where we should take a train....where to get excellent food in an informal environment....when to arrive at the train station for the next leg or our journey.

Did everything go perfectly? No. There was a hot water issue on our last day, resulting in our leaving without a shower. But we would still give this B&B the highest rating, because of the customer service. Emiliano was apologetic about the water heater, and was trying to troubleshoot getting it serviced that day (Saturday). While he was dealing with his own difficulties he was also helping us figure out train schedules, purchasing tickets online, and organizing transportation to the train station. He is clearly knowledgeable about the city and wants to make sure that visitors enjoy their time there.

Of note, Emiliano is also an excellent chess player. If you want a strategic location (walking distance to Vatican City and the train station), access to a strategic thinker (advising how to travel comfortably, efficiently, affordably), and a potential future on-line chess game...stay here.

We stayed 3 nights at the excellent Domus Quiritum 'Citizens of Rome' B&B in the Prati part of Rome - excellent location for all the sights - 10 minutes from Piazza del Popolo on foot and about the same down to the Vatican City - our B&B hosts gave excellent restaurant choices, directions etc. Our highlight was seeing a concert in the Ciampino area and we had not realised this was on the outskirts of Rome on a Sunday night!!! Emiliano to the rescue, our B&B host went out of his way to help us reach the concert and to return back to the B&B safe late at night - outstanding. Rooms very comfortable with excellent en suite - cosy breakfast area and delightful conversation with the co-owners in the mornings. Thank you, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rome.

Room Tip: If you want to stay in a tranquil up market area, this is a wonderful part of Rome.

I stayed at the B&B with my wife and 10 month old baby for 2 nights in October 2012. I cannot speak highly enough of Emiliano, a co-owner of the B&B, who collected us from the airport late at night with a big smile on his face, and ensured that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. He even went out the following morning and bought two bottles of a particular brand of Italian mineral water that is recommended for babies! The staff at this B&B are amazing. They are incredibly friendly and helpful, and just warm, lovely, genuine people. Their hospitality really made our trip to Rome.

Our room was very comfortable and clean, with a lovely view of the piazza. Breakfast was delicious, a sweet breakfast comprising an array of sweets and juices. The B&B is very well situated, and is within easy walking distance to the Vatican and also most of the main tourist attractions in Rome.

I can't recommend this B&B highly enough, and will definitely be staying there again when we return to Rome.
