rooms small, but good size bathroom my be thats how the are in most of Rome hotels!? any way very clean and good decor, the only disappointment for a 4 star hotel a poor breakfast!! and the comment that i received when i asked why they where no eggs!!yes we have but you have to pay extra!! and the reason because people of some countries they eat too many eggs, and too much breakfast like a brunch, management decision! i travel a lot and use many hotels ,but this one its a laughable matter never come across before to such a stupidity.by the way i heard that a lot of clients complaint about this.

I have stayed at Hotel Veneto Palace for three nights with a few friends.
The hotel is located on Via Piamonte 63, It is not located in the center of ancient Rome , but is within 200 meters from Via Venetto , just 800 meters from Piazza Barberini and within 900 meters from Piazza della Repubblica . In both Piazzas there are metro stations.
The hotel is set as a 4 stars Hotel, but in my opinion it does not reach the appropriate level.
The rooms are tiny and dense. Hotel rooms design is classic Italian style. Can be easily observed that the furniture is made from cheap raw materials..The color combination is too loud for my taste. The closet in my room was too small and there were hardly shelves. Bed linen were quality and comfortable to the touch. Level of cleanliness was quite reasonable.
During my stay I have I noticed some maintenance failures such as paint peels off the walls in the shower, signs of mold around the bath and toilet seat rocking. The window in the room was not opaque enough so chill wind slid into the room..
Breakfast is quite simple and includes cheese, sliced sausage, bread and rolls, pastries, cereals, yogurt, two types of fruit and coffee. Breakfast is not including vegetables and eggs. There is an option to order eggs and pay for them an extra fee.
The sitting in the dining room is on stools. In the absence of the chair or rack I found myself sitting with a coat on my laps.
Reception service is efficient and friendly. Receptionists helped us to orientate in the city, and advised us about some good restaurants and not too expensive around the hotel such as the recommended Brancaleone restaurant.
The hotel has a free Wi-Fi service.
In summary: Hotel Veneto Palace is a nice cheap hotel which is suitable for individuals and couples who do not shy away, from remote location from the ancient city center of Rome.

Dear Guest,
thank you for taking your time to review our Hotel. We are very pleased that you found our staff helpful and professional. On the other hand, we are sorry that the size of the room did not meet your expectations, but the size respects the italian standard.
Referring the maintenance of our rooms, we really take care of details and we assure you that the furniture is hand made. We are sad to hear your disapponted about our Hotel classification. In Italy, as in some other European countries, the classification system for Hotels, is designated by the national government. There’s a checklist that each hotel is put through and then a final score is produced that determines how many stars that hotel has. For the mentioned reasons, we are a four stars Hotel.
We look forward to welcoming you soon
Best Regards,

We were not suppose to check in this hotel, but there was something wrong with our reservation in other hotel and they kindly offered us this one. In fact, it was a pleasant surprise. Big rooms with comfortable beds, classically decorated like if we were in a Classic Rome age. Very good complimentary breakfast, but charge extra for some eggs sounds to me ridiculous when paying 180 euros a day. The surrounding my be a little isolated, mainly because of lots of embassies located in the neighborhood. It was not easy to find a snack bar or somewhere to buy take away food.In the other side, the staff, mainly the desk attendant Giani, were so kind to us that we really appreciated. He gave us touristic informations about the city patiently and told us about the line 60 bus, that takes you to all touristic attractions. A blast hint! We recommend.

I am a travel agent who has sent many of my clients to the Veneto Palace Hotel in Rome over the past 2 or 3 years so, it was terrific to finally get a chance to experience this property on my own just a few weeks ago. I was very impressed with the way this hotel is run. The front desk staff: Gianny, Flavia and Luca were so incredibly friendly in helping us navigate their amazing city and provide spot-on recommendations for top-notch restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are nice sized, the common areas of the hotel are very pretty and their breakfasts were very good. I would return in a heartbeat.

Just back after spending some wonderful days in the Eternal City. The hotel is in a great location ,within walking distance of many of the main attractions. It is also only a 10min.walk to Barberini metro. The hotel staff were extremely friendly & helpful esp.Fransesca. The room was small but spotless--the standard of housekeeping was excellent. After all you don't go to Rome to spend the time in the hotel room.Great breakfast with lovely cappucino.Caeserina restaurant is just up the street & is excellent also La Bruschetta a few mins away.La Lampada is not good.

The hotel staff was welcoming and efficient. While the room was small, as most European hotel rooms are , the beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean. The breakfast was good It is within walking distance of the Villa Borghese and the Via Veneto. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay there again.

Room Tip: Make sure you have a room that looks out on the street, they are generally brighter
