“Very nice, indeed”

We do live down the street for more than a year, but this was the first time we went here. My wife (we're transplants from NYC) had been here for lunch. The food was creative, the service very attentive. The dishes are Roman mostly and if not very delectable. The catch of the day crusted with cheese was delicious, and the steak just right. What deserves special mention was the appetizers - the cod pastry was out of this world. Anyway, we are hooked. Not a cheap place and not one to bring children to.

“Outstanding”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 19, 2013

We walked to the restaurant from a concert in the Auditorium in the Park on a chilly and damp January evening and found it exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was warm and intimate, the waitresses were perfectly delightful and the sea bass we had as our main course was undoubtedly the best we had ever tasted, perfectly fresh, delicately seasoned and deliciously succulent. An absolute must if you're in the area of the Museum of 21st Century Art, or the Borghese Gardens or the Auditorium in the Park.

“Amazing!”

From the moment we stepped in until the moment we left everything was perfect. The food, the staff and the owner. All farm fresh food grown and raised on the owners estate in Tuscany. Magnificent!

“Sleeper location near embassies”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2012

Located by embassies and north side of Borghese Gardens area. The service is personable and food was great. all the ingredients are from their farm in Umbria so freshness was incomparable. Went there twice. Do NOT miss their version of tiramasu --- unique and unforgettable.

“The best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2012

The best food experience in years. Located in a Rome suburb and frequented by locals (always a good sign) the atmosphere on Saturday night was lively but refined. More importantly the food served for our three couses was of a quality we had not found elsewhere in Rome or anywhere else for that matter. The portions were enough to satisfy our appetites without being overwhelming. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We started the meal at 8.30, probably a good time as I think the waiting staff came under pressure as the restaurant became more crowded. The price was a little high (about 100 Euros for two three course meals, a bottle of wine and coffee) but well worth it.
