The staff at the First Luxury Art hotel insured that our trip was spectacular. Their efforts only enhanced this fabulous hotel that sits in the middle of Rome. What a find!!! We will be back on our next visit to Rome and we will encourage all those who visit Rome to book at this special boutique hotel. Thank you so much.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel over 2 periods in August, firstly for one night prior to going on a cruise, and then for another 2 nights on our return. The purpose of our trip to Europe was to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and my wife`s birthday, and I casually mentioned this to Terry, the front office manager who attended to us on our arrival. From the first welcoming sight of this beautiful modern hotel to the last moment of checkout this hotel is 5 star, with every staff member, including the manager being super efficient and helpful. The checkin is done leisurely over a refreshing glass of champagne or fruit juice, in the comfort of lounge chairs, and on both occasions we were pampered and made to feel special. Our travel agent booked us into a Deluxe room, and Terry upgraded us to a suite for the first part of our stay which was exceptionally comfortable. When we checked in again after our cruise, Terry was there to greet us and check us in again. This time he offered us the choice of 2 suites, one similar to the one we stayed in initially, or a slightly smaller suite with its own outside jacuzzi. We opted for the latter which was as comfortable as the first, with the added luxury of the jacuzzi. Actually this suite also had a jacuzzi in the bath. While relaxing in the room we received a knock on the door, and were presented with a homemade chocolate cake, a bottle of champagne and a handwritten note to welcome us back and to wish my wife a happy birthday. To be honest, I had even forgotten that I had mentioned her birthday so this little touch was a real gem. The hotel is also very well located, about 5-7 minutes walk to the Spanish steps and close to the good shopping area. Definitely recommended

My partner and I stayed here for 4nights at the end of July. First impressions of the hotel were great. We had arranged an airport transfer with the hotel so they were there to meet us upon our arrival in a very flash Mercedes. Upon arrival we were greeted with a glass of Italian Sparkling Wine and then shown to our room after a quick check in.

The room we stayed in was a Junior Suite and it was HUGE! It had a King Bed with a sofa/living area and two bathrooms one of which had a bathtub. The main bathroom was a little small however still very nice. The bed was extremely comfy, very soft pillows and a fluffy duvet.

The breakfast which is included was sensational...i'm very big on breakfast and I was blown away with the variety that they offered; cereals, yogurt, fruit, cheeses, meats, made to order eggs etc.

The staff were exceptional, helpful and very friendly. The room service and nightly turndown service was great as they provided us with complimentary water and the weather report for the next day.

Overall we were very happy and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the 1st Luxury Hotel. The location was great as it is was within walking distance to all the sights. In case you need to get a train there is a station very close by. It's also located in a quiet street away from the hussle and bussle. The hotel also has a fabulous roof top bar/restaurant which offers amazing views of Rome however the restaurant is quite pricey. Another bonus which helps when travelling, the hotel offers free wifi.

All in all, we loved it and will definitely return when we go back to Rome :)

Room Tip: Go for the Junior Suite.

We enjoyed our stay the first 4 days of August. The hotel is located in a great spot, easy walking to shopping etc. We were traveling with our 2 teenage daughters and were nicely situated in an end junior suite and and adjoining room. Rooms are modern and comfortable. Quite luxe acutally with big marble bathrooms. Beds are comfy and the ac works well which helped us greatly in the heat. Service was quite good and the concierge staff was helpful. Be advised the workout room is not yet open. The downstairs bar had a very accommodating server. Our one bad experience was at the bar rooftop restaurant. We wanted early drinks (7:30) on the upper level and the very unfriendly hostess told us we could not sit as it was reserved at 9. she sat us at a miserable table. I then told her we would leave by 8:30 and she begrudgingly obliged. Afterwards others were allowed to come and sit, clearly friends. I would push for those seats as the view is divine and the servers are quite nice. All in all, I would return in a minute.

We stayed here for only one night in May which was prior to a Med. cruise but really wished we could have stayed longer. The view from the rooftop deck is spectacular and would have loved to have cocktails up there, so we must go back again one day to experience that. The location is fantastic as it is close to great shopping on the Via del Corso and also walking distance to very popular restos such as Gusto and Ad hoc. The decor is understated and elegant. Only complaint is that the room is a bit small, but the comfortable bed and luxurious accessories definitely make up for that.
