My family have joined in the Eating Italian food tour witch was the highlight of our trip. The group was a mix of Europeans and Americans fooks. The tour leads you along special places and scenes where the meals before consumption are being explained on a charming and comic way. Our tour guide Sara new how to made a good atmosphere within a short time. We can advise it to everyone.

We took the Eating Italy food tour through the Testaccio neighborhood of Rome in October 2012. An Australian transplant to Rome, Luna was our tour guide, and she made our experience fun and memorable--particularly when she managed to maintain her composure after swallowing a fly mid-sentence as she described our next tasty treat.

Being serious eaters always in search of the best food wherever we travel, we were thrilled with the offerings presented during the tour, and we definitely got our money's worth. Everything we ate was fresh, delicious, local, and unique. It was awesome to get an insider's look at some of the city's best local vendors, as well as a visit to a typical weekend market. In addition to all the great food, Luna made sure we soaked up some of Rome's cultural history as well, with the highlight being a stroll through the non-Catholic cemetery where poets Keats and Shelley are both buried--an unexpected treat for sure.

We really enjoyed the tour; our only complaint was that after such an amazing experience on Saturday's tour, we were unable to visit a few of our favorite spots the next day because a lot of the shops were closed on Sunday. Otherwise, Eating Italy Food Tours was a fantastic way to find some excellent food in a town full of tourist traps. Thanks for pointing us in the right direction, Luna!

We really enjoyed Eating Italy last year, so we decided to take my brother and sister-in-law on the tour this year(2012). Luna was an absolutely terrific guide this time around. She really knows Rome and has a true love for all things Roman.

Our tour included additional tastes compared to last year's tour, all wonderful. Do not eat much breakfast, because you will be STUFFED at the end of this tour. Lunch was included and was amazing.

Do not hesitate to book this tour. It was the highlight of our visit again this year!

We booked this tour for the start of our stay in Rome, 9th October 2012, From 11.15am to 3.45pm we were thoroughly educated, entertained and fed with excellent Roman foods. Sarah our guide was very easy to listen to, she was entertaining and we thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with our group, walking through the delights of the route, from deli's to markets, gelatia's with lots of historic infomation thrown in. What a fantastic tour and start to the holiday. Well done Sarah you made it even better. Would highly recommend this tour.

The only negative I can say about this tour is that we couldn't take another food tour whilst in Italy because we couldn't imagine anything else as good or better. From 11.00am when we met Sarah our guide, until we left her at around 3.45pm, she was informative, entertaining, thoroughly organised, had great stops planned and paced the tour at a truly enjoyable rate so that we never seemed to be at any one place too long or not long enough. The information we learned about Italian food and the style of eating in Italy set us up for a wonderful following two weeks where we actually understood how to enjoy Italian foods as the Italians do. Thanks Sarah.!!
