The perfect location for a visit to Rome. Quiet and immaculate with attentive hosts who care! Superb eateries nearby. We walked to all the sites comfortably. A very big thank you to Chiara and Guido for making our visit everything we had hoped for and above all relaxing.

We were in two different rooms in the lower level, one with en suite bathroom, and one with a bathroom you access through the kitchen (room switch due to others booking before us). The rooms are surprisingly light and airy for being in the basement - before you cringe at the word basement, honestly it felt like you were in an ancient Roman apartment with the vaulted ceilings and brick, wood, and tile details. Just be aware there is a long flight of stairs to get to your room - no elevator. Cute frescoes in the room. VERY quiet neighborhood which made sleeping a dream. The restaurants in the area are delicious and not too touristy. The real bonus of this place is the neighborhood. Super convenient to all sights and the Cavour metro stop. Guido went out of his way to make a restaurant reservation for us - very helpful. Guido also reviewed the city map with us and pointed out some off the beaten track sights to check out.

Room Tip: Ask for the room off the main lobby if you don't want to navigate stairs.

We spent 4 nights there, it was absolutely awesome! Location is perfect, Chiara & her father were helpful and the place itself is just lovely.
Many nice trattorias & restaurants in the area, very close to the Colosseo and metro, very convenient!
We had the room with the bathroom outside but it’s not really a problem since it’s very close to the room.
Will come back there next time for sure!

I Capocci might have been the best thing that happened to me while in Rome. Not only is it located in the intoxicating Monti neighborhood, the impeccable taste and immaculate cleanliness in which Guido keeps the place; makes it feel like nothing short of what anyone would be proud to call home.

Room Tip: The Minerva room was incredibly charming and very comfortable!

We had a very pleasant stay at B&B Capocci. Before arrival, we had some questions and they answered us in a gentle way and very quickly. Upon arrival, we have been welcomed by Guido, his father, he answered all our questions in a very friendly way too, giving us some useful tips for our stay in Rome (for exemple, to visit the Dome in Vatican). The room was very nice and very clean (we met the housekeeper on our last day and she was also very friendly).
The location of the B&B is good as it's very central and you can walk by foot from there to many hotpoints in Rome, it's a lively and nice neighbourhood as well, with nice restaurants and bars. We felt totally secure. We recommend the B&B to anybody and would love to come back in the future! Thank you very much to Chiara and his father, we had a very nice stay in Rome!

We just returned from our trip to Europe and stayed at Guido's B&B in Rome. After a lot of research we chose to stay in the Monti area because it had better value and more options for authentic places to eat and drink. Guido was very helpful and kind in the check in process, even though we arrived an hour late. The building is just as beautiful as the pictures. We had the room with a shared bathroom. Room is small but typical of European rooms. It's walking distance to everything-we never took a cab or metro as we enjoyed seeing everything by foot.Overall would stay here again.

My wife and I, daughter and her spouse, son and his girlfriend spent a week in Rome at Christmas and stayed at I Cappoci. We simply loved it. Three bedrooms, three baths, a parlor, kitchen and dining room make up this apartment. It is clean, it is beautifully appointed and is in a great location about halfway between Termini and the Roman Forum. It is a terrific base for exploring the wonders of this great city. My wife and I have visited Rome three times before and had always stayed in this general area (Monti) so we were fairly familiar with the neighborhood, which is in walking distance of most of the things you want to see. For going farther afield, the Cavour metro station is only a few blocks away.

Even though we were eight hours behind schedule arriving in Rome, Guido (the owner) met us at the apartment and could not have been more helpful. As other reviewers have noted, payment is in cash, so Guido walked us several blocks to the nearest ATM. Since all of us had bank cards, getting the required amount was no problem.

Breakfast is by voucher at either of two locations. One is in a hotel breakfast room just around the corner. Since it is the closest,
and has a perfectly adequate assortment of breakfast food to choose from, it was the only place we went in the morning.

The closest restaurant is "Trattoria il Tettarello" just down the street and it is excellent. We had dinner there several times had a great experience each time.

All in all, none of us could have been happier with the apartment, the location, the owner. We had a great time.
