The daily arrivals of local fish from Anzio, Orbetello and Mazara del Vallo, fragrance and guarantee exclusivity of the dishes from our chef. In the historical center of Rome, a stone's throw from the Spanish Steps and Via del Corso, the spaces, elegant and comfortable, equipped with advanced audio-video systems, help to create an intimate and private, ideal for business meetings work and romantic dinners for two. In our cellar, the best Italian wines, champagnes and spirits of quality ... offered in addition to the ritual "Limoncello di Capri". Be seduced by the flavors of Malafemmena!

2stressed staff. Inconsistent service, we had non of the 'complimentary' it's despite excessive show to other customers. Charged for courses we didn't have. Shame as food quite nice. Total waste of an evening.despite3 huge tvs that we and others repeatedly asked to be switched off.

“Don't go”
Reviewed April 1, 2013 via mobile

Food eatable but below Roman standard. Prices abowe dito. Stressed staff who gave us far more expensive wine than we asked for. But if you want an authentic 80's decor and feel a bit ripped off...well this is the place to be.Worst restaurant experience in our four days stay in Rome. Just don't go.

“Nice food but expensive”
Reviewed February 13, 2013

The food was nice and was very well presented. However , restaurant seemed to lack atmosphere . Few customers probably due to cost , rather on the expensive side.

“Unexpectedly terrible, the entire time.”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

After an amazing day of seeing the sites of Rome, we were told to have dinner off any lane-way along Via del Corso. It was about 9:30pm by the time we decided to find a restaurant for dinner.

After searching around for a while, we decided the menu at Malafemmena looked affordable, but wholesome. We were greeted with two rude, and obnoxious waitstaff, and menus thrown on out laps. Note: there was only one other couple in the entire restaurant; a clear indication that the restaurant is mediocre, even for Italian standards.

Half of the menu was 'not available' which left us with either steak or pasta or seafood as our main options. The pasta my partner ordered was greasy and cold, and my steak oily and chewy. I ordered a glass of wine (€10 for one glass) that could have passed for vinegar instead.

All in all, this restaurant couldn't be farther from 'a typical Italian wholesome meal', and the bill nearly €50 for 2x 'primi piatti' meals.

Spare yourself the dissatisfaction, and go somewhere where the are other diners!
