“HOTEL WITH JACUZZI = RELAX”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 3, 2013

As the location might not be the best when it comes to classic Rome, the area in itself was quite nice and lively and the nearby metro station made transportation easy. The room was top notch clean, quiet, confortable and stylish in its own humble way. You could have a lovely breakfast on the balcony; we even managed to have poached eggs for breakfast. But the absolutely best feature of the room was the large balcony with the jacuzzi. Extremely satisfying to relax yourself in the jacuzzi after visiting the hot city or to have a romantic bath when the dusk sets in with swallows flying above you. Highly recommended.

We booked this b&b not knowing much but the location close to Tiburtina station. After a little confusion finding the buzzer outside the building we met Marvin and checked in. It was a large room by european standards with a large balcony that looked out on to a neighbourhood. We enjoyed the experience of being in a neighbourhood as opposed to a tourist area. We ate in the area and food was great and prices reasonable. When we left for the train station the owner, who didn't speak much english, went out on the street with us to get us a cab when calling for one wasn't working. Marvin, the one man show spoke excellent english and was very helpful.
I would definetly recommend this B&B to anyone who wants and excellent value and a little taste of Roma life.

Room Tip: We were to have a room with a jacuzzi outside on the balcony but the jacuzzi was broken by the previ...

I stayed in suites roma tiburtina luxury for a week end and i found it fantastic!!! A large king size bed in the room with a jacuzzi directly in the room. The private bathroom has a big shower and all was clean. The rooms are at the top of a building near Tiburtina metro station (Line B), 10 minutes from colosseum metro stop. A lot of shops and restaurants in the district.

We lived in SILVER suite: clean, spacious and nice (with designes' details) room. My son 10 years old was lucky about free coke-cola in mini bar :) Perfect modern bathroom. Private funny balcony with jacuzzi bath looks very romantic. Unfortunately the bath was useless for us because of April. Also location is very good: very close to the city centre. Of course, Suites Roma Tiburtina are B&B and there is no laundry, etc., but if you looking for a good hotel to stay and don't need to iron Armani suit, for sure this place is excellent choice! Special thanks to Matteo, the owner, he did his best to make our stay comfortable.

had a very nice stay at roma suites. after getting off the metro b at tiburtina we flagged a cab as had no idea where the hotel was... it is infact a 10 min walk over the highway... but beware of the taxi drivers as this cost us 15euros for a 1km journey. the hotel was gorgeous inside although on the 8th floor of a normal set of apartment and the owner had difficulty speaking english so was slightly awkard trying to sort out rooms etc when we checked in. breakfast was more a coffee machine and croissants on a shelf you could help yourself to. the free mini bar was a nice touch and came with loads of soft drinks and a couple of beers. the room itself was lovely very clean and jacuzzi bath nice touch. into rome is 4 stops to termini from tiburtina station and from there you are central to everything. although rome is really expensive it is reasonable to eat and drink near the hotel as it is much cheaper than town... and more traditional rome-no tourists.
on departure the lady owner was not there so just dropped the keys in the letter box. would stay again but probably wouldnt return to rome at the end of june due to how busy the city was- queuing everywhere was the death of me!!!!

ohand also... the air con is useless. sleep was very disrupted due to heat and aircon not working. as the woman did not speak english and was never really at reception did not have chance to tell her... this was one of the only negatives to the hotel itself.

The room was probably the best of the whole Europe trip that we went on in terms of cleanliness and modern features.

The hotel staff were very accommodating. They even did our laundry for free as we stayed for 5 nights. Breakfast was a self catering service with pastries and cake, bread and fruit. The staff mentioned that we were free to request anything else that we wanted which was good. Plus there was a coffee machine that we were free to use at any time.
As a warning though, ensure you call the admin staff and let them know an approximate time that you will be checking in as the front desk is not always open throughout the whole afternoon.

Also be aware that tiburtina is not a picturesque place. We found it convenient as it was a 5-10 min walk to the station and tiburtina is about 4 stops from Termini which is a major station. However the neighrbouhood is a little rough around the edges. But the hotel makes up for this.
