“BEST PLACE BY THE VATICAN TO EAT!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2013

This is the greatest place to grab a good meal when you are hanging out around the Vatican!!!! All the staff speaks great English and other languages. Our waiter Andres was awesome at knowing where we could avoid lines for other tourist locations as well as other nice sites within the city to go check out.

Cappuccino is awesome there!
Strachetti is a must have - soft steak with lettuce and mashed potatoes!!
My favotire meal was the Tornorelli with the white sauce! Pasta and sauce made by the proprietors mother.

And if that wasn't enough the drinks are all amazing as well.

We ate at all the locations on this corner in our 3 week stay, but this was our favorite and the only one with good food. Plus if you want good Gelato, the old bridge gelato spot is half a block away and it's a perfect dessert after one of these meals!

“Very attentive staff and reasonable considering the location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2013 via mobile

I went here today with 2 family members. The staff were attentive and answered questions about directions and even provided accurate bus routes to us. We ordered a pizza and the potato mash dish to share which didn't seem to upset them too much. The food was good as a snack and price wasn't extortionate considering you are a stone's throw from the Vatican. The thing that made it for us is that after a family member had a geriatric moment by smashing a glass the waitresses were at our table in a second and very happy to tidy up and defuse which was a slightly embarrassing situation. Cost for 2 dishes and 3 draft beers €30.

Also to note we went to Ris Cafe a couple of years ago for drinks only and they have an impressive collection of local, rare larger/beer. Admittedly a bit overpriced at €5/€6 per bottle but an ideal location to sample local beers other than Peroni.

“Great Burgers, and Pizza reasonably priced.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2013

Suprisingly, the pizza here was better than at any of the other restaurants we tried. The burgers were better than most in America, and cooked perfect. We were in Rome 6 nights, and we ate dinner here twice it was so good. Staff is very friendly also, which isn't always the case in Rome.

“Very good alternation among the Italian restaurants!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2013 via mobile

This restaurant has an english menu with both italian and 'american' food. Good when you want something else than pasta or pizza. The waitress was very friendly and she spoke well english. The sun was shining, we had a delicious white chocolate desert and a glass of wine: it was perfect!

“Burgers and beer close to the pope”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2013 via mobile

Great burger, great beer and epic music! Nice tables outisde in the sun. A lot of value for the money. The only negative thing we could say about ris cafe is that its located 2m from a heavy trafficed road.
