We happened on this local restaurant as it was down the street from our rented apartment. It is not too far from the Colosseum, but not full of tourists. The cuisine is Roman, though we only ate there one night, and had three different pizzas, which I had avoided during most of our 19 day trip. The pizzas were delightfully different and excellent, being the thin crusted type with very fresh ingredients. I have since learned that this is a local restaurant with well more than a hundred years of serving local Roman food. I wish we could have returned to sample the non-pizza menu, which includes in house fresh pasta and other goodies. Easy walk from Manzoni metro stop and numberous bus routes.
