“Nice clean and friendly when around, though rather noisey”
Reviewed June 12, 2012

A room with a street view is fantastic, but given the view is of an inner city street with a view bars and restaurants and street cleaners coming through quite late at night, I would have preferred a room without a view.

Admittedly, there isn't that much in the way of restaurants and bars on this street and the traffic isn't as heavy as it might be, given it is very close to the Termini.

There isn't much Angelini bedrooms can do for the noise, they already have thick double glazed windows which muffle a lot of the noise - this was obviously worst on our first night. After that we become a little more accustomed to the noise, and perhaps very tired from walking around Rome.

There was no reception, but the lady who signed us in was lovely and when she was around as helpful as she could be. The room was kept very clean and the internet wifi was good and free

The location was marvellous, an easy walk to termini, Colosseum. About 20 min walk to the spanish steps, or a 5 min walk to the nearest metro station.

This place is a basically a regular flat with all rooms converted into doublerooms with bath. There is no reception or any staff around, everything is on call. The necessary telephone numbers are on a doorplate at the main entrance and the service works even deep in the night. It seems to be save, you need to unlock four doors till you are in the room. The rooms have an Ikea style interior which is well kept and comfortable. there is a little fridge, a flatscreen tv, a well sized waredrobe, a quensize bed with good mattress, bedside tables and a desk with chair. The bathroom/toilet ia equipped with one basin and a large shower with good water pressure. The windows are new with double glazing and additional window shutter. The rooms facing the street are, if the windows are open, very noisy. But considering you are in the center of a large city that is absolutely normal. Earplugs help you well to get over that. Housekeeping comes once a day and does a good job. they also daily leave a voucher for breakfast in your room. This is served in a bar right next door. The staff there is very friendly and helpful (i. e. by calling a taxi) and the breakfast is italian...one croissant and one very good coffee, thats it. Location is great to explore the city. You can walk in 10 minutes to the collosseum and in 5 Minutes to the main trainstation, where you have access to the Metro and hop on hop off buses. There are several nice restaurants and bars in the side streets close by as well. Upon check out we were offered to store our luggage till our departure which was a nice gesture. So it is a good place to stay, with 90,- Euro per night a bit expensive for the offered facilities.

Stayed 5 days in Angelini bedrooms, location is perfect 5mints to Termini by foot , very close to Maria MAgiorry. Very clean, cosy, nice B&B except one thing no window to central street. We had one very small looking to nowhere. It was not so pleasent. I had to stay in room for 2 days due to broken leg:( I got crazy there like in a prison. As much as I saw in other rooms there were big windows to main street Via Cavour. Just make sure you do not stay in Appolo room. Administrator Lory- very nice women very helpful, hospitable. They provide breakfast in good cafe with nice people next to B&B where you get your free breakfast and smth extra very tasty for your small money.
Overall we found it clean, nice, cosy but a little expensive as before we stayed for less but a little far from Termini around 10-15 mint to walk. It depends what is more important for you location or money.

Room Tip: No Appolo room as there is window to nowhere.
