We decided to book Deko Rome after reading all the great reviews & we loved our stay here during the Easter break!
The room was perfect, very clean with aircon/heater, safe, free mini bar, tea/ coffee maker , internationals tv channels, and also an I Pad with free wi fi internet. It's a 5 minute walk to the nearest Metro & a stone's throw away from the US embassy so it's located in the safest area of Rome. Marco and Serena recommended the best restaurants and bars all around the city & places visited by local people which contributed towards making our Rome trip that bit extra special as we love dining/ eating out at places where locals go rather than all the tourist hot spots. Continental breakfast was served every morning with a broad smile & Serena's little tips on our day trip to Florence were very useful too. I haven't come across many people who can match Marco & Serena's passion for hospitality. We stayed here for 4 nights and I highly recommend this B&B to everyone visiting Rome, no one can match the Deko Rome experience. Needless to say that if we ever go back to Rome, we will stay there again for sure!!!!!

We spent 4 nights in this hotel. Thanks to Marco and Serena we had an excellent time. They know how to run a hotel and make you really feel welcome. We had a feeling that we were family and we did not want to leave. We will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends. Our room was very nice, spotless, everything brand new even if not huge in size. The location is very convenient, quiet, short distance to major attractions and historical sights. Don't resist any of their recommendations even if you got a plan. Thanks and hope to be back!

Room Tip: did not see other rooms, but from the location of the building they seem equally pleasant. our room...

It was really pleasant to stay att Deko hotel, they are wonderful, you get all help you need, the best service, you get all information you need about where you can get a good lunch or best ice cream and they know what to recommend. It's central and you get a good rest because is very quiet. I warmly recommend this little wonderful hotel.

We spent a very enjoyable few days at Deko Rome. It was our Golden Wedding Anniversary and Marco and Serena went out of their way to make it a perfect stay. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the breakfast good and well presented. Marco and Serena both spent time talking to us about Rome (what to see and where to eat) and then arranging and booking the things we had chosen. The Hotel was in a good location and if in Rome we should certainly stay there again.

Room Tip: We stayed in the suite and would do so again.

I cannot rate this small boutique hotel/B and B more highly. It began with multiple emails checking on availability given that our stay coincided with the Papal election and installation and Marco's prompt responses reassuring us of our status. The next incident was the numerous phone calls that our cab driver (pickup from airport having been arranged by hotel) kept receiving from Serena to check that we were on our way as our arrival was somewhat delayed. Then on arrival, our warm welcome by Serena (known as "the boss by Marco) and immediate half hour discussion complete with notated map on where to go in Rome, how to travel, how not to get ripped off by cabbies and how to use public transport. We didn't by the way as everything we needed including our conference venue was within easy walking distance.
Our rooms were quite large, functional and immaculately maintained and the bathroom was great although could have done with an extra shelf or two.
Continental breakfast was substantial and extra drinks and coffee were constantly offered by the charming Andrea.
We enjoyed meals at restaurants recommended by our hosts at often quirky but enjoyable places in often quite hard to find locations but we were rewarded by the fact that we were not surrounded by hordes of tourists.
The service provided by this young couple who evidently have genuine love for their job and enjoy the company of their guests is well above expectation and extended to the warm chats we had after our busy days with whichever of our hosts was on duty.
We will certainly return to this gem if we come back to Rome.

Deko Rome is charming concept that can best be described as a combination of Boutique Hotel/ Bed and Breakfast. Our gorgeous room was impeccable with all the amenities possible. Deko Rome owners Serena and Marco were warm and friendly hosts. Their hospitality was overwhelming! Our trip was punctuated with interesting little side venues that could only be experienced through their recommendations. It was a pleasure and a comfort to come back to Deko after a busy and exciting day full of unexpected treasures!
Thank you, Serena, Marco and Andreea for making our holiday a memorable one.
Just what we were looking for !
Sincerely,
Brockville, Canada
