“Walk in as strangers, leave as friends”

This is a beautiful elegant boutique hotel that is run by a young, hip, and fun couple that are gracious hosts (Marco and Serena).

About the facility: the decor is modern and classy. Serena designed the interior and has put in a lot of thought about the little details. The kitchen/eating area is small and cosy, perfect if you are visiting with a friend or a sweetie. The entire inn is very hip and modern. The rooms are air conditioned, have a TV, large windows, and just the perfect set up if you need some downtime from the city.

About the hosts: It's rare to walk into a hotel where you have such personal connect with the hosts. During my stay, I loved chatting it up with Serena while she makes one cappuccino at a time, or with Marco as he makes delicious cocktails. They will, in a heartbeat, suggest great restaurants, bars and gelato places. You can never go wrong with those suggestions. Marco's great about making reservations for you. I've ended up having the best meals, thanks to them. As Serena says, "you must eat fresh food" or you must visit such and such because it's very "characteristic." You won't really know the charm in how she says that until you meet her.

A beautiful little B&B - very new, very modern and absolutely great value for money. The location is quite central with the bus stop just across the road and metro 10-15 mins walk away. Room was small but very clean and neat.

The hosts Marko and Serena are very friendly and give plenty of advice on places to see, places to eat, etc. They are also really sweet and welcome you with a cup of coffee or proseco if you see them in the evenings :) Marko helped us with our bags both when we got there and left the place - big relief since our bags were so heavy by the time we got to Rome!

Breakfast was really good - with a variety of items and very filling and tasty.

Visting Rome in summer was quite exhausting as the heat just drains you - and it was a relief to have a place like Deko to go back and have a siesta to avoid the mid day heat.

What a great place to stay in Rome! Marco was an excellent host, who helped out in so many different ways as far as advice on where to eat, do your laundry and reserving appointments to places that I would otherwise be standing in line for hours for which all made my trip easy. The place is very stylish, hip and new . I love the attention to detail that was put into the interior of the rooms, especially the bathroom I opted for the room with a jaccuzzi which was useful after walking around all day. My stay at Deko Rome was wonderdful and I highly recommend this place for the location, nice decor, and most importantly the hosts. Good people.

We stayed for 3 nights in Deko, and we loved it! Brand new and spotlessly clean, sizeable room, minibar, modern bathroom with great shower - all better than expected. However the service and hospitality of the hosts, Marco and Serena, are unrivalled - we arrived late after a long day travelling and Marco welcomed us with cool fresh juice and coffee which was lovely. They made our precious time in Rome so well spent, giving great advice and recommendations on where to eat, visit etc, and all our requests for help were no problem - follow Marco's recommendations on restaurants and you won't be disappointed. You must try www.tavernaparione.com - the best meal we had in 10 nights in Italy and the best value too. We will certainly be back at Deko.

lovely very modern rooms, in a beautiful residential building. all amenities available, great bathroom, everything spotlessly clean. marco and serena lovely ,warm, helpful hosts. perfect central location in a very safe and beautiful area, bus stop just round the corner, supermarket right below house. breakfast just right to start day. loved it and would go again. owners go out of their way to help with advice and directions. good luck to them, they deserve it.

Room Tip: they are all equally very good. they have one that is a family room and therefore bigger.

Clean, brand new and reasonably well appointed, would recommend the Deko for those who do not need the extended services of a full hotel (like a 24 hour front desk). The room size and quality is comparable to a Rome four star: bigger that a closet, a sparkling bathroom, mini-bar, super high ceilings. Breakfast had variety and was much more robust than the typical continental style.

Location is in between the US Embassy and a police station. About as secure as you could hope for. Although pretty high up on a hilly part of this hilly city, it is a short walk to Pzza Barberini and the Metro. Villa Borghesi is a 10 minute walk the other way.

But, as everyone says, the incredible hospitality of Marco and Serena, the lovely hosts, make the stay memorable and so much more relaxing than a comparable boutique hotel. We'd happily stay there again.

Did not know what to expect when coming to this hotel, but ended up having the best time here. Marco and Selena were so hospitable, friendly, and welcoming (I highly recommend joining them for aperitivos in the evening) that it changed the whole vibe of our trip in Rome. Marco's experience in the restaurant/bar industries in Rome allow him to make the most amazing recommendations for food and drinks in the city. The rooms are spacious and have brand new everything. My flight was not until 6pm on the last day, so Marco and I hung out in the lounge all afternoon just snacking, chatting, and drinking. This hotel was definitely a highlight of my trip. Am giving it the highest recommendation possible.

Room Tip: Get their opinion on restaurants in the area - they have the best suggestions.
