We stayed in Apartment C1 (first European floor, second American floor) on Via De Cappellari in June of this year. The apartment was exactly as expected. It was a large one bedroom apartment with two twin beds in the living room, a refrigerator and stove. I would not call it luxurious but it was more than adequate for our family of four in Rome and suited our needs well. Our teenage sons slept in the living room very comfortably. The bathroom was quite nice and spacious compared to some in Italy. The staff were absolutely lovely, very helpful and kind. We enjoyed the rooftop deck immensely. We made sure to be up there every night to watch the beautiful sunset over the Vatican in the distance. The staff gave us glasses and a wine opener each time. All was well, except...

Campo De Fiori is a beautiful little square where, unfortunately, every college aged person in the city seemed to come to hang out until the wee hours of the morning. It is loud. Very loud. We arrived on a Monday and each night got progressively louder. In fact, on Friday night I told my husband it sounded like there was a rave going on right outside our bathroom window. Luckily, with the shudders and the dual paned windows closed, and using ear plugs every night, I was able to sleep. My husband was able to sleep without earplugs. Our boys, being in the interior of the building, were not bothered. I don't know if this is just a summer problem or a year round issue. I recommend the apartment itself for a family, but because of the noise, I would warn those bothered by noise against it.

Since we did not stay in the hotel, I don't know if it is an issue there or not. Each time we passed through it on the way up to the deck, it seemed perfectly quiet, serene and beautiful! Even with the noise, the rooftop deck of the hotel was a highlight of our three week trip to Rome!

Dear Guest,
You stayed in one of our apartments which we always suggest to our guests when arriving with a family situation. Our apartments as stated by you,
“The apartment was exactly as expected. It was a large one bedroom apartment with two twin beds in the living room, a refrigerator and stove. I would not call it luxurious but it was more than adequate for our family of four in Rome and suited our needs well.”
I would like to highlight that they all have A/C, Free WiFi, Daily cleaning by our chambermaids, Flat TV Led with a fully furnished kitchen if one would like to cook while in Rome.
You highlight that the famous Campo de’ Fiori area was full of college students, and this is true being the most trendy area in Rome at the moment as it is known for all over the world. Although we have taken action and as you indicate we do have installed “Sound Proof windows” which do work”!
“Luckily, with the shudders and the dual paned windows closed, and using ear plugs every night, I was able to sleep. My husband was able to sleep without earplugs. Our boys, being in the interior of the building, were not bothered.”
Obviously the noise may happen outside and not heard of inside but this only comes around on certain periods of the year such as holidays etc.
Our fabulous rooftop terrace is offered to all of our guests weather reserved in the hotel or in our apartments and have also access to Free WiFi.
Thanking you for your review,
Best Regards,
F. Severino

We were traveling as a family of 4 and had intially booked an annex apartment, but upon arrival were not pleased with that arrangement. The staff was very accommodating and quickly gave us two lovely rooms instead and even adjusted the price of the rooms to be similar to the apartment we had booked. The hotel and the rooms are just beautiful. The staff was wonderful--very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was quite nice, too. One of our rooms had a lovely terrace that overlooked the city--wonderful! The hotel has two rooftop terraces that make a wonderful place to relax and view the city. We had a wonderful stay here, and can't say enough about how welcoming and helpful the staff was!

Dear guest,
When one reads you review he can understand that for us it is not an just an economic situation but for us it is more important to see to it that our guests are all happy. As you indicate we moved you into the hotel into 2 rooms even if the rooms have much higher rates and also offered you breakfast at the same rate of the 1 apartment for 4 people! If this isn’t hosting I don’t know what is!
You describe,
“We were traveling as a family of 4 and had intially booked an annex apartment, but upon arrival were not pleased with that arrangement. The staff was very accommodating and quickly gave us two lovely rooms instead and even adjusted the price of the rooms to be similar to the apartment we had booked.”
Our staff is always there to understand and help and you do say,
“We had a wonderful stay here, and can't say enough about how welcoming and helpful the staff was!”
For us it is important that your stay with us remains a life time positive experience as it has I believe reading your review and we do hope to be able to host you and your family in the future as well.
Warmest regards,

The pictures still don't do It justice! We have traveled the world and are very picky travelers. Hotel is perfect for your visit to Rome. In a great convenient location. Views of Rome from 2 classy roof top decks. Charming, elegant, not stuffy, professional and helpful front desk staff. Delicious and lovely breakfast every morning with great service and food. Rome can be noisy and this boutique hotel has the most soundproof windows we have experienced. Even though right off charming old historic square with churches (and bells) never heard anything when sleeping. Air conditioning super quiet too. Hotel Rooms are well decorated as are all common area rooms. Can't wait to go back when we are next in Rome.

Room Tip: Get biggest one u can afford. All rooms in Rome are small.

Dear guest,
Your title with a few words sums it all up and I have very little to say in reference,
“Perfection in Rome”
When I read the word perfection and I have read it more than once in the reviews it makes me understand that we are on the right road and that we have centered our target although we do believe that we can always do better!
Your phrase,
“The pictures still don't do It justice!”
Are a beautiful combination of words that I thank you for. It is truly pleasing to read such descriptions.
Your entire review is filled with beautiful words but I cannot copy all so I would like to say that your review does cover all that we try to cover from location, to staff, to breakfast, to sound proofing as well as the decor of the hotel.
You describe,
“Charming, elegant, not stuffy, professional and helpful front desk staff.”,” “Hotel Rooms are well decorated as are all common area rooms.”
I can answer to what you say ,
“Can't wait to go back when we are next in Rome.”
We can’t wait to have you as our guests once again!
Best regards,
F. Severino

Just returned from 3 nights at Hotel Campo de Fiori. Lived up to all the glowing comments on trip advisor. From my initial booking everything was handled efficiently and with great warmth. Great advice on restaurants and directions to main sights. The Hotel sorted our transfer from our cruise ship to the hotel and from hotel to the airport, both on time and in luxury cars. Our room was beautiful and very clean with plenty of room for all our luggage from the cruise. Lovely fresh towels each day. The fridge was great to chill wine or beer to take up to the roof terrace after lots of walking and sightseeing. Location could not be better, close to all the main sights and with a great little bar opposite for a nightcap. Would not hesitate to return here.

Room Tip: All rooms look lovely and ours on first floor was very quiet even though next to lift - never heard...

Can't say enough good things about this hotel-staff, service, location, cleanliness are all top notch. Rooms are small, but adequate. Three of us shared a room and it was fine for the limited amount of time we spent in it. The staff, location and overall charm of this hotel more than make up for the room size. Looking forward to a return visit.

Wonderful Hotel, right in the centre of Rome with very friendly, helpful staff. The rooms aren't huge but there is so much to see in Rome you're hardly ever in the hotel. Spotlessly clean, beautiful rooftop terrace and within easy walking distance of all the sights. We also used their car service for our journey to and from the airport which was great, it's a fixed price including tip and was very good value. Would highly recommend.
