We stayed in the double room for a very reasonable price considering its outstanding location. The free wifi was a much-needed relief from the price gouging of our previous hotel. The breakfast isn't in-house; rather, it's just a couple of blocks away at a nearby cafe/restaurant and you choose from a limited menu. It was still plenty of food and included fresh-squeezed OJ and your choice of cafe. The room itself was a bit smaller than expected, but for the price it was fine. I'd also like to see a microwave in the shared kitchenette for our left-overs.
The proprietors were very friendly and helpful, and gave us a free map of the area and highlighted all the hotspots to visit. Be sure to get a Roma Pass for €30 each - good for 72 hours and lets you skip all the lines at the sites - a huge plus.
It's within walking distance from the Colloseo station or a fairly cheap cab ride from Roma Termini. A cab from the latter is about €10.More
