It is a relaxing meeting place for breakfast, lunch, tea or a drink either while visiting an exhibition or on any other occasion. The speciality of the Bistro-Cafeteria are its varied menus, natural yet refined. Table service further adds to guests' comfort. “A haven in the historic centre”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2014

This place is a hidden gem: walk past the museum entrance (no need to queue or pay, if you're not going to the exhibit) and into this enchanting Renaissance courtyard by Bramante, just steps away from all the action of Piazza Navona. Go up the little stairs to the cafe and take a quiet moment for coffee or prosecco - the tables around the cloister are tiny but lovely and it's never crowded, so you can linger a while. It's not fast or cheap, but that's the point: the quality is good and the atmosphere is truly second to none, so take time to enjoy it!

“Best place in Rome for a coffee on the terrace ...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 25, 2014

... or a drink in the lounge bar
It's a little place tucked away behind the Piazza Navona (this alone makes it a worthwhile escape from busy, tourist-filled Rome), in the Bramante cloister. Have a coffee outside at the first floor gallery and admire the architecture, peace and quiet. Or have a drink later in the evening in the lounge bar inside. Great place!

“A museum Caffetteria near Piazza Navona”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 7, 2013

You can visit the caffetteria without paying entrance to the cloistre, but have the chance to admire the wonderful courtyard of Bramante. Its in the 2nd floor, modern, stylish and as far as I saw now even with a club lounge. The choice of dishes isn't big, but everything fresh, tasty and with (for Italy) unusual spices. We had chicken-curry with black rice in form of a pyramide - as now its the Cleopatra exhibition. Risotti, pasta dishes, meat, salads and sweets, good wine by the glass. The service is kind - even sometimes a little slow. Warm kitchen only till around 3pm. As the area around Piazza Navona usually hosts only tourist restaurants at exorbitant prices, this is a good choice. Just difficult to find:-) Many romans come here to lunch and to chat. In summer small tables on the gallery of the cloistre. I lunch there everytime I go to see an exhibition and was always satisfied, so were my companions.
