Description: The pub takes its name from the world renowned Irish National Theatre, which was founded by William Butler Yeats and Lady Gregory.Stage props and costumes from the storerooms of the Abbey Theatre have been used in the decor, giving the pub a very special atmosphere. The six fully air conditioned rooms of the pub are spread over two floors, and a huge range of Irish whiskeys, cocktails and long drinks are on offer, as well as Irish beers on tap including, of course, the famous Guinness. The Abbey Theatre offers irish, italian and international cuisine all day everyday. We are able to show all major sports throughout the pub on 14 TV screens. ( NFL, Premiership, Serie A, Rugby World Cup...). The pub has a happy hour during the daytime, live irish music every week, and free Wi-Fi.The pub also offers private parties or weddings. Our welcoming pub, is considered one of the best in the city and it is laid out in typical Irish style with lots of little rooms linked by narrow corridors.

We stumbled across this cracking pub on our way back to our hotel. Staff are attentive and friendly. Thursday was open mike night and was a great time. Friday , and I'm sitting here enjoying some live Irish folk music and it's mint. The foods not bad either. Very few pubs in Rome that you feel relaxed just having a few drinks, but this is certainly one of them.

We have been traveling around Europe for the past few weeks and needed some pub food to get us back mentally after eating lots of delicious food, but with very similar styles.
This pub did it. We had juicy fish and chips and burgers. It was actual beef! It was very good and the price was spot on. Dinner for two was 14€.
This is a great spot to relax and watch some sports and enjoy a quick bite or a pint!

I come here from time to time when I feel like a beer.
I like the atmosphere.
The food is really nice too: I've tasted the hamburger with chips (both are a lot better than the ones served in most fast food restaurants).

Thank ssans

Good atmosphere, good music, good sports coverage, good food, good service, good beer and all at a good price just off Piazza Navona and not too Irish for an Englishman
