Our dinners in Rome have been pretty hit and miss - with more misses than hits. In our wandering through the centre we spotted the Casa & Bottega bar and thought it looked very appealing with its clean white and taupe decor - so we stored the information for a later visit. It was a delight! We ordered a couple of spritz cocktails and they came with a selection of handmade savouries. The ambiance and service was excellent. Primed for dinner we asked the staff for a recommendation for dinner and they informed us that their restaurant was only a 3 minute stroll from there and we were even escorted to the restaurant. The decor was a match and the food superb. The restaurant (like the bar) is small, catering to no more than 20 maximum - and we couldn't fault it. It doesn't appear to have been open for long but if it keeps up this standard it will be difficult to get into. Highly recommend a visit.
The bar is on Via dei Coronari and the restaurant is nearby.
