I haven't been to Sicily, but if this is any indication as to how good the cannoli are, I better get packing.
Crunchy, sweet shells, with a touch of powdered sugar. They were light and tasty.
The filling was just sweet enough, but not too heavy. Most of the cannoli I have had both in NYC and in Boston's North End are typically like lead bombs. Not these!
My husband and I got pistachio, hazelnut, and almond. They were out of the nutella, but we would have liked those as well. DELICIOUS. Not far from the Vatican (which is where we came from) and then grabbed a cab back to our hotel. It's about a 15 minute walk from the Vatican, but a pretty one at that. Do not miss this!
