We were pleased with our meal as it was plentiful and reasonably priced for being so close to St. Peter's and the Vatican Museum. The service was friendly and our lunch was nicely paced.

We went here on advisement of our host. We were not overwhelmed by this place, they serve a good pasta but you can have a better meal in Rome. We paid 33,50€ for two bruschetta, water, wine, and two pastas. Service was friendly not overly warm.

We were staying in a nearby convent and the sisters recommended this restaurant which was close by. They mentioned that the servings were large, this was great news! My sisters and I ordered pastas and a salad to share. We struggled to finish everything. We saw the sizes of the salads that other customers were ordering and they were huge.
After three weeks away from home it was lovely to have fresh salad.
The service was wonderful. Our waiter was very attentive and 'molto gentile'. We sang his praises to the manager and were told that he was only new. He was exceptional.
Prices were very reasonable and there was a lovely ambience. Well worth trying if you are in the Santa Sabina area.

If you're hungry after a visit to the Vatican this is a good - better than average - place to eat. As the name says the stars of the menu are the salads in a town where you pay extra for vegetables with a meal. We were ready for some greens. Three of us ordered salads. Mine had pineapple, walnuts and seafood in it, though the shrimp looked canned, and it was tasty. Our friends shared a simple salad with shaved parmesan and were satisfied. My husband ordered a Margherita pizza which was not awful, but was the least of the pizza's we had during our three weeks in Italy. Stick to the salads (three pages of the menu) and you won't go wrong.

Like the atmosphere. The prices and values are excellent. Their salads are great and varied---something different besides lettuce, tomatoes and mozzarella!
