Stayed here for three nights bed and breakfast. The hotel itself is quirky with narrow staircases but it does have a lift. The hotel is on a busy road but once in the hotel you don't hear the traffic as they have excellent double glazing. The room we had was a good size with a very compact en suite bathroom. The sheets and towels were of a very high quality and changed each day. Breakfast the following morning was buffet style with a great selection of cheese, meats and pastries. The hotel staff on the whole were very welcoming, polite and helpful. The only gripes I have is that there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and to avoid the mini bar as it is extrodinarily expensive. The hotel is on the main bus route to Piazza Barberini (get the number 63) which has exstensive links to the rest of the city via bus and metro. Overall a great hotel in a fairly quiet location and the surrounding restaurants are good and cheaper than the main city centre ones.

Check in was a breeze, the breakfast was very good - with eggs and goodies in the 2nd room by the way! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here with a room for 2 and one for 3. Great value for the price. This hotel is just a few blocks from a major bus stop - we were able to get to all locations in Rome other than the Vatican via public bus for around 3 euro/day pp. The bartenders gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations (we ate at little local restaurants the entire trip), inexpensive, wonderful food, cheap good wine and no-one spoke much english, yet ordering at each place was a breeze with much pointing and lots of discussion about "white or red" referring to both wine and sauce!

Room Tip: We were on the 2nd floor, with a lift, not a problem.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Oxford in Rome! The room was luxurious, very dark and quiet for an excellent night's sleep. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Don't book a room in the apartments, only in the main hotel.

We stayed there in mid October 2012 for 2 nights. Great value, great breakfast selection, close to all the "sites", and the staff was excellent. Internet was good, no lossing connection, room was clean and had a safe. Staff was very helpful. I would recommend this hotel for anyone!!!! :)

We took the small double room and were given the best value we could get! Small room, but it seemed as if it was refurnished recently, very clean and very stylish. Bathroom was Luxurious, spotless and just fun to use.

7 minutes walk from the closest metro station, a step away from via Veneto and about 20 minutes walk from Piazza Di Spagna.
Highly recommended!

Stayed for 3 nights for a short break, room smallish but nicely looked after and maids came every day. No tea/coffee making facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful, room temp fine, but probably because the temperatures had dropped when we arrived. On a quiet street, which when we saw other hotels we were glad of. Easy walking distance to everywhere - if you like walking, if not there is a bus stop down the road. Free in room safe, only Skynews in English and that was bad reception but we didn't watch TV. Great bar in the evenings to come back to relax in, the barman was really friendly, helpful and always gave us free nibbles/biscuits/shots. Cocktails were nice too! Which was great because we didn't fancy walking far after being out at the sights all day! All in all a great little hotel, only two gripes, another towel each for our hair (but in fairness we didnt ask for one) and tea/coffee making in room would have been nice.

We are a young couple, stayed in Oxford hotel for a week in October.
The hotel is in a very good location, 5 minutes by walk from the Barbarini metro station, and also close to piazza di spagna.
The room was very good, very clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was great, very rich with many options.
The staff was amazing! So nice and willing, always smiling and happy to help.
The only problems are the wifI-usually it works, but sometimes it doesn't p (they told us its a problem with apple devices) and the fact that there is no elevator.
