“Awesome hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 12, 2014 via mobile

This hotel was great! We arrived at 8:30am after an overnight flight. We were able to get into our room at 10!
The staff was all really nice and helpful.
The room we had was small but perfect for what we needed. It was exceptionally quiet and the amenities were great. The free snacks, water, coffee and tea were a nice treat.
The beds were really comfortable and the shower was great! We really enjoyed it here.

This is by far the best city hotel I've stayed in anywhere in Europe.

The staff were very friendl and very helpful. The check-in was very smooth. The staff helped tremendously when my wife was pickpocketed on the underground. The restuarant staff were very friendly, courteous, and very informed on what was served at both breakfast and dinner.

The food was excellent. The breakfast was very good and had an excellent choice as you would want in a buffet breakfast. The dinner had an excellent choice for carnivores and vegetarians. Breakfast and dinner was served very well and tasted brilliant. By far, the best hotel restuarant I've eaten in.

The room had just been renovated. It was not the biggest room I've stayed in but given this is a city hotel, you don't expect massive rooms. It was comfortable and had enough space for my wife and I to stay comfortably. The room had been renovated to a high standard.

The hotel had good wifi connection throughout the hotel. This helped us to stay in touch with family during our visit using messaging apps on our smartphone.

The hotel itself is located one of the major thoroughfares in Rome and is in a good location. It about a 15 - 20 minute walk from the Coliseum, the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. It is also about 15 min leisurely walk from the main train and bus terminus.

When visiting Rome again, I would have no hestitation is staying at Hotel Artemide again.

Just returned from Rome having had a marvellous four day break. The service in this Hotel is the best I have ever experienced. All the staff go out of their way to make your stay more memorable. The breakfast is fantastic, with such a variety you are spoiled for choice but it get better, the waiting staff want to please you even more and come around every morning offering fresh cheese and wait for it freshly baked cake, they are all so friendly. We had dinner on the roof top on our last evening and what a meal, I had the pork for starters it was melt in you mouth delicious and for mains I had the Lamb (which I am still dreaming about), the waiters were so helpful, recommending which wine to choose etc. It was my sister first trip to Rome and with all the tourist attraction so close by, this hotel just crowned our stay.

Room Tip: Our room was wonderful, so tastefully decorated with all the latest technology. We found our room v...

Obviously Rome is amazing but this hotel made our trip.
We stayed here for a week for my husbands 40 th birthday. It's next to the colosseum and the main line station on a shopping street, when you walk in its nice but not opulent, the standard rooms are clean but small.

The main thing is that without realising it, they have everything you want. The cleanliness of the rooms and the shower gels and body lotions etc, the fridge is packed with nastro beer, pop and snacks for FREE and is replenished daily for FREE. This is Europe and what is known as a very expensive place and it's all there in your room.

To be honest we didn't find Rome expensive at all, we enjoyed going in the underground restaurants and eating some of the finest foods in the world at reasonable prices. You must try the saltimbocca when you are in Rome.

The Artemide hotel had Borolo on the wine menu for something like 25 euros in the UK you wouldn't find it for less than 45quid.

The prosecco they serve is also nice and the atmosphere on the roof restaurant for drinks and nuts was great.

The perfect location for a business trip or holiday. No fancy spas, swimming pools or big reception areas, just quality understated luxury.

I must mention the breakfast. Wow. Again not a massive display with carved out fancy fruit and flowers but wow. They had everything, cappuccino to die for, fresh fruit and bread and meats and eggs cooked how you want. Very very nice. Will definately be back.

The Newly renovated rooms are of a high standard and very comfortable. We knew about the renovations before we left so it wasn't a problem would loved to see the new front renovations but eh maybe another trip ! The staff we excellent warm and friendly nothing too much trouble . Had a few problems with the touch lift button but got it sorted out. The breakfast was perfect special treats came round made by the breakfast manager apparently he makes a lot of the pasties so we were told. Had dinner in the roof top restaurant excellent food of a high standard presentation also top marks expensive but nice for a treat . Roof top garden is a lovely addition to sum up we certainly thought our stay was top class

Room Tip: An ideal hotel and central location to lots of tourist sites
