Thoroughtly enjoyed our stay at the Artemide Hotel. Great location on Via Nazionale - all key sights are within a reasonable walk. The train station is a little further than we thought - as my sister can attend to as she dragged her luggage from the train station after taking the train from the airport for 14 euros, versus my 95 Euros taxi ride - which I now know was rip-off as the fare should be approx 45 Euros

Breakfast was fine - not great - but the service was amazing. The rooftop bar/restaurant was very nice - and again I found the service to be very good. I would recommend this hotel - not as luxurious that the Westin Excelsior where I usually stay but I would pick Artemide again. I was there September 15-17th, 2012

Room Tip: Rooms facing Via Nazionale are a bit noisy. We had the smallest room on the floor - based on the fl...

and stayed in this excellent hotel. Location was perfect for walking to all the sights we wished to visit. Our room and the rest of the hotel was spotless. Although not huge our room was big, enough, air conditioned with a large bathroom, a welcome tea and coffee tray and a free mini bar with beer, water and soft drinks replenished daily. We faced the busy main road but slept well on the comfortable king sized bed and enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the street from the small balcony. The breakfast room was delightful serving a lovely buffet breakfast with everything you could wish for and more, all fresh and replenished constantly. The staff here were exceptional and we felt tht this was the clue to the well running of the hotel in as much as all the staff were clearly well trained and performed their duties impeccably. We would definately return.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back quieter but with little view. Our room on the 4th floor at the front had a small b...

Our visit to Hotel Artemide was delightful. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The doorman served us several times helping with our luggage and opening the safe when I accidentally locked it. The handsome men and women at the desk couldn't have been more pleasant and responded to our questions with the help we needed. The previous week we stayed at the Roma Waldorf Astoria which was quite nice but the breakfast at the Artemide surpassed the Waldorfs in service and quality. The fresh ricotta cheese and croissants were better than any dessert. The coffee was superb. The attendants in the Breakfast room were as excellent as the food. The business center was well lit and easily accessed with a working printer and several terminals. We enjoyed the beautiful rooftop patio with a complimentary glass of prosecco wine.

I would definitely recommend the Hotel Artemide Roma to any of my friends, it was a highlight of our trip to beautiful Italy.

Room Tip: We needed a room with two beds and even though it wasn't advertised I was pleased to find they a...

We stayed at this lovely and accessible hotel on the last night of our trip to Italy. We had finished a fabulous trip to the Amalfi Coast with Nada's Italy... Nada specializes in small groups with a maximum of 12.

The rooms were very beautifully appointed and so pretty. If visiting again we will definately stay there. The staff was helpful. Our flight required we leave at 5 a.m. They gave each of us a bag with breakfast goodies, including yogurt, juice, crackers, jam, nutella, cream cheese, and fruit.

My hubby and I really enjoyed this hotel! We were very warmly welcomed to Rome by the hotel staff when we arrived despite the fact that they were very busy. When we walked into our room, we were very touched to see a bottle of wine and a nice note from the hotel manager congratulating us on our wedding anniversary...such a nice touch! It really kicked our vacation off on a great start! The hotel in general is very nice and clear plus it's in a good location with lots of restaurants and shops close by. Although we didn't pay for the breakfast package, we received 2 complimentary breakfasts, 2 complimentary drinks and 10% off for the rooftop restaurant/lounge. The breakfast was very good with a great selection of meats, cheeses, pastries, cereals and vegetables. The rooftop bar is a great place to relax and enjoy a drink or coffee (especially outside). Also, we loved that all the snacks and drinks in the mini-bar were complimentary - perfect after a day of touring the city! Our room was small but we expected that...we were very happy with the cleanliness and the modern feel/upgrades though. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Service with a smile, always. Nice room. Attentive. Perfect location. The included breakfast was truly the best complimentary buffet breakfast we've ever encountered. The eggs, yes, the scrambled eggs were memorable. Yes, eggs were memorable. The bacon--I don't know anything about Italian bacon--but the bacon at the breakfast was crazy good. Now--the absolute best part of the Artemide was that which was not expected to be anything but adequate--the hotel restaurant. We had the best meal of our entire trip to Rome and Italy in the hotel restaurant--Ambrosia. I had canneloni that was like eating candy and lamb chops that were as perfect and a lamb chop could be. We were savoring every single bite of these entrees and were simply astounded at the quality and flavor of our food. The rooftop terrace was a such a nice little escape after our days running around busy little Roma. We enjoyed cocktails on the terrace a couple of nights. All in all--this place will be hard to beat, ever. Only regrets--wish we had had another meal or two at the restaurant. :-)

My husband and I recently spent 4 days in Rome and stayed at the Artemide Hotel . This hotel is very centally located ,and was within reasonable walking distance of all major attractions. The staff are so friendly , the rooms extremely comfortable and super clean.( the bathroom was well stocked with Benetton toiletries, and even had a bidet in the huge luxurious space). Loved the roof top bar and restaurant ( had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant ) , and loved the Prosecco voucher that lured us up to the rooftop to begin with! The buffet breakfast was plentiful , the staff in the breakfast room were courteous and attentive . All in all it was a wonderful experience , and this hotel and it's lovely staff get a big tick as one of the most welcoming and comfortable we've stayed in anywhere in the world.
