“Warm & Comfortable”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 11, 2013 via mobile

I stayed for four nights in Mushi Mushi B&B instead of Wow Roma due to the water supply problem in Wow Roma. I must say there are just too few reviews been written to let all the travellers know the good of Moshi Moshi B&B.
It is extremely close to the Termini, less than 5 mins. The day I arrived Rome is cloudy and started to rain right after I got off the train. Luckily, I was quick enough to arrive the "Green Door", so we didn't get wet nor cold. Train, bus station, airport buses are just across the street, what more I can ask for? And some kebab shops, restaurants and supermarkets are just 5-10 mins walk.
For the room, it is nice, clean and big. There is a television which is not usually provided in B&B but my mum and I really appreciate it cause it makes us feel more connected to Rome. The breakfast is self serving with a wide range of usual food that B&B provided but you can have them whenever you want or whenever you feel hungry. Ham and cheese are in the fridge as well.
Most importantly, Maki gave us so personalized service. Not only she gave us a phone, whenever you got a problem, she is just one call away. And I had a little problem with vatican mesuem booking, she helped me out a lot for the reservation too. Finally, on the day we left, since we were having a late flight, she let us to keep the key so and store our luaggage which she noticed maybe overloaded and gave us a scale to weigh it before we left. How considerate she is! As Rome is our last stop, she helped carrying some of our big bags down to the street for taking airport bus... This is really heart-warming cause that was the day we were leaving, not really her customer any more and she did it without asking any return.
I would definitely recommend other travellers to stay in this lovely B&B.

My wife and I stayed here on our Honeymoon in 2003, we absolutely loved it. It was right by the Train/Bus Station, the room was awesome and the price was right. Next time we are in Rome, we will not even have to think twice about staying here again. Way better than a hotel.

Room Tip: We did the private ensuite, so private room, private bathroom.

When we arrived, we knew the area around Termini is notoriously rough, so we expected the very worst. We could not have been more wrong!! It was like an oasis of calm as soon as we stepped off the busy street into the apartment building.

With a lovely courtyard, and old fashioned lift, leading to an airy, well presented hallway. The bedroom was stunning for a bed and breakfast, with a carved wooden bed, big shower/bathroom.

We were met by the cleaner who gave us a mobile phone to use to contact the owners, we had use of a laptop in our bedroom, unlimited espresso, loads of breakfast items, fans, maps, pc,toiletries, on the end of the phone advise. Too many things to remember.

We also had a reasonably late booking out, and where given the phone for the day, while our bags where stored, kindly free of charge, until -9pm- :O, at which point our host arranged to meet us!

It turned an exploring day in Rome, into a top notch romantic weekend.

Such a great place, please don't be put off by the location!!

Amazing.

Thanks

When i got to the termini station, i contacted giancarlo and we were able to go to moshi mosh bed and breakfast house instead of wow roma b&bi. I thought i got the short end of the stick because I wanted it to be farther from the train station area but it turned out the b&b was relatively new and with a private bathroom.

i love moshimoshi more compared to wow roma which is the older b&b. you can have breakfast anytime you want and wifi connection is pretty good so i can still keep in touch with my family.
giancarlo and maki are pretty busy but they are always a phone call away.

tip: get your own private bathroom and try the pizza close to the b&b. the room can get pretty noisy at night so bring earphones.

Room Tip: get the room with the private bathroom(bathtub)

I was traveling w my wife and 2 adult ( 27yr and 23yr) children. We booked 2 rooms at the other hotel but were told there was an issue w the plumbing. We were early so Maki gave us a cellphone, told us to call at 2 pm and she would advise which hotel we would have.
Turns out the plumbing wasn't fixed so Maki had us meet her at the Moche Cafe and we walked to the Moshi Moshi. It is directly across the street from the Termini station. we had two rooms and the rooms were very clean and we had access to a fridge w juice, yogurt, etc. Free wifi. We checked out the 2nd day and Moshi let us store our bags until we took the train to Venice that afternoon. The location was great except that my daughter said it was a little noisey the first night ( Saturday), Both rooms had a "shower" but our shower was nothing more that a bathrub with hand held shower hear without a shower curatin, Had to take a "shower" sitting down which was unusual for me but quite common in Europe. Not a big deal but just throwing it out there. All in all, a great location, great room and great hostess....would stay there again!!!

Room Tip: Away from the street if you want to have less noise...busy area across from the train station..

They have a website where you can email to book. The owners have 2 buildings, one is directly across the street from Termini Station and the other is just a short 5 minute walk. I stayed in the B&B next to the station which is supposed to be newer and nicer. The B&B is mainly geared towards the Japanese tourist since one of the owners is Japanese. The Bed part is great, but the breakfast part not so much unless you are Japanese as there is rice and a few Japanese dishes in the fridge. Other than that there is always juice, yougurt and bread available. Free wifi, including a desktop computer in the hall that is also available if you need it. Maki is very nice and does provide you with plenty of information before setting out. Also providing a local cell phone to use as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moshi Moshi. Here is why:
1. The rooms are lovely and clean and comfortable. Modern. Quiet.
2. The location is right next to the Termini station and the bus terminals (very useful in Rome). Very safe area.
3. The breakfasts are 24/7 and great (cereals, yoghurts, toast, croissants, coffee, even rice).
4. Maki (the hostess) is AMAZING! She lent us a cellphone for the duration of our stay and was available for random questions throughout the day (very helpful). She was very knowledgeable about how to get to all the sites and gave us some great tips for touring Rome.
5. Free wifi.
Would definitely stay there again.
