“Best meal in Rome by far”
Reviewed November 12, 2013

My wife and I loved this place. I had lasagna and she had carbonara -- it was a very special occasion and the restaurant delivered. The service was the best.

“Unusual and beautiful place”
Reviewed November 8, 2013

This is an unusual and beautiful place, located in what was once the studio of the sculptor Antonio Canova and his favorite pupil, Adamo Tadolini. It's truly lovely, literally packed to the rafters with sculptures -- even some on the shelves in the bar! A great place for a coffee, must come back and try the restaurant.

“Best meal I had in Rome”
Reviewed October 4, 2013

The food here is fantastic. It was the best meal I had while in Rome. I got a carbonara, which was cooked so perfectly el dente that I was in heaven. I have not had such amazing pasta and I am still craving it.

“Very Unique and Excellent Food”
Reviewed September 12, 2013

If you are an art lover then you have to eat at Canova's. The restaurant is located in a former art museum with the art still there. You could spend hours here just looking at the art work but you need to make time to have dinner there because the food is as exquisite as the art.
