“Nice Cosy Hotel in City Center”
Reviewed December 1, 2012

The Hotel is very nice, the welcome was good and the men at the reception handed over a city map and explained very well where are the places to go for sightseing, Restaurants, and some more.
There are some steps to climb to the Hotel, but the staff is very helpfull with your bags.
The room is small, but clean bathroom was clean and you have all you need, including shower gel, shampoo and clean towels, which are changed on Daily base.
Breakfats was good and you get what you need, Parma Ham, salami, cheese, eggs butter, cream cheese, cake, juices, yoghurts and more.
Most of the atractions are in walking distance , 20 min, and a shoping street is very close. The Termini Station is onlz 8 min walking distance.
The opera is next to the Hotel.

Room Tip: Take a room with view to the opera.

Stayed at the Lirico for 4 nights in room 201.
It was clean and well maintained and the bed was nice and firm.
The free wifi worked well and the info desk helped me print my bording pass.
I slept with an open window and was not disturbed.

We spent 5 days in Rome recently on our honeymoon. It was the 1st time I had been to Rome. as a city it is amazing.

The Hotel Lirico was recommended to us by a friend. The location is superb. Transport links forthe metro and Bus are 5 minutes walk away. The Room we stayed in 208 was lovely. Clean, air conditioned (did not think we would need air con in October, but we did) and spacious enough. It was comfortable too. And even with the busy Rome roads right under our window, quiet.

The Breakfast were your typical continental breakfast. Always lots to choose from and the staff kept topping up on the most popular items.

There was a man on Reception called Tony. He was a star. recommended us several restaurants to eat. We tried a couple of them and were very happy.

The restaurants and food were all fantastic. We both loved every second of our stay in Rome.

Room Tip: Room 208 was lovely

We chose the Lirico after carefully comparing its situation and facilities with others at a similar price and it turned out to be ideal for our 5-night stay in Rome. Its location, within a short walk of the Termini station and the Repubblica metro, was a plus point, and yet it was also very peaceful, with no disturbance from traffic or from other guests, thanks to excellent soundproofing. There was no shortage of dining options nearby at every price level.

Our room was spotless, comfortable and a reasonable size, as was the bathroom.

The choice at breakfast (included in the price) was excellent: fruit juices, yoghurts, fresh fruit, cereals, rolls & pastries, cold meats, cheeses, eggs, preserves, hot beverages, etc. Even at busy times we found a table available and the staff did a fantastic job of keeping supplies topped up and clearing tables.

Hotel staff overall couldn't have been more helpful, offering us a city map on arrival and making suggestions for eating nearby. On the day of our departure they stored our suitcases ready for collection at our convenience and they even carried them down to the entrance for us without being asked.

All in all, the Lirico turned out to be a great choice for our stay in Rome.

We took a nice 4-days trip in Rome. Even the room is not that big, the cloth cover of the wall there is fascinating. Bed is comfortable. Good sound proofing. The receptionist, Tony is very warming and very helpful. The restaurant recommended by him is very good! The location of the hotel is very convenience, close to the train station and shopping area. I would like to choose to stay here again next time! Highly recommended.

Dear Customer
Thanks for the good comments and appreciation for our hotel and our staff. We know how difficult, particularly for those visiting Rome the first time, be able to choose among the many routes, places to visit and restaurants to eat without the risk of losing money or valuable time, which is why all of our staff is prepared to help customers to move effectively and choose the best rapport between quality and price.
We hope to have you soon as our guest and with the opportunity to remind you that the prices on our website are always the most competitive.

We stayed at Hotel Lirico for 3 nights in September. We had arranged through the hotel for a car to pick us up at the airport and that worked out very well. Our driver delivered us to Hotel Lirico and upon checking in we dealt with Kumar. He was amazing! He checked us in and had our bags taken up to our room. We decided to do the hop on hop off tour and Kumar sold us the tickets at the front desk and made the arrangements for us. We were interested in purchasing the Roma passes and asked Kumar where we could buy them and he said he could sell them to us right there! When we mentioned to him that we wanted to visit the Vatican he went on line for us and ordered our tickets for the Vatican Museum. He recommended great places for us to have dinner at too. He certainly went above and beyond our expectations.
The hotel is a 5 minute walk to Tremini station which is so handy to catch the Metro and the Euro Rail.
The room was quite comfortable and just enough room for what we needed. We had an amazing view of the Opera House. Breakfast was perfect, fresh meat, eggs and pastries every morning. Serving staff was very pleasant.
We had the chance to meet Michelango and Massimo to compliment them on their amazing hotel, and their staff.
This hotel was great value and the service second to none. They certainly made our Rome visit wonderful. We will certainly stay here when we return to Rome again!

Dear Ms. Michelle

Thank you for your comment full of details that motivates us to do even better in our work.
We always think that our customers should feel right at home and get the right advice to avoid losing valuable time visiting a big city like Rome, which offers a lot, but also useful advice not to have bad surprises.
To that end, we prepare our staff to be always ready to meet the demands of our customers.
We really hope to see you again soon and in the meantime we wish you a good continuation in all its activities.
Sincerely
Massimiiano Restagno
