First off the location is worth the stay. It's super close to about 20-30 restaurants within a few blocks. Also close to a supermarket which is a plus. We were only 2 blocks from the termini, which is the train station where most of the big bus tours depart from. We did the 3 day tour so it was about a 4 minute walk from our hotel to where we needed to be everyday for the bus pickup and drop off which was super convenient, we did Green Line Tours in case you're interested in the one we used. Another pro was the air conditioner, I know this may sound crazy but there are many many places here in Rome without AC-as a Texan this is mind blowing but i guess it's less common here. Breakfast was free and offered from 7-1030 which was nice. Selection was comparable to other hotels I've stayed at before (ie: assorted coffees and juices, breads, danishes, eggs and meat and cheese, and yogurt and cereal, etc). Now for the cons: room wasn't the cleanest, dusty nightstands and floors which I'm not a fan of. The towels were terrible, and I don't use that lightly. They got fuzz all over after showering. It's not just one towel, it's every single towel. To have fuzz on your face and body after showering after a hot day in Rome is less than ideal. And also the pillows feel like paper, not really comfortable. And he pictures of the room on the internet, let's just say the rooms don't look like that- they are much more outdated and smaller. But I get it, this building is probably 100s of years old. Overall though, the location makes this hotel a 4/5, would stay here again if needed just wish the towels were better!
