Hotel Mondial
Ranked #328 of 1,272 Hotels in Rome

The best thing about this hotel is: location. Very close to the Termini Station and thus to the airport, but also to the city center and main sightings. If you are feeling frisky, you can easily walk from f.example the Colosseum to the hotel. There are also many shops, supermarkets and restaurants in the area. The rooms are very average, with a very outdated look and sober decoration. It was clean though, and the WiFi was acceptable. The breakfast was nothing special, and it was to much staff in the breakfast room, who was standing up and down looking at us when we were eating.

After visiting 4 other Italian cities, were going to wrap up out Italian vacation in Rome. We spent 6 days at the Hotel Mondial.
You can't beat the location. Termini is only a couple of blocks away and the Republicca Metro station is 1 block away. However, you can actually walk to most of the Rome attractions from the hotel. (As long as you don't mind walking)
Plenty of great restaurants surround the hotel. We ate at many of them and enjoy them.
Front desk experience was good. Agents were helpful. They scheduled out shuttle ride to the airport as well.
The room was spacious and in great condition. Free WIFI is not the strongest but it gets the job done.
The breakfast buffet was good and the breakfast room attendees were very nice.

Depending where you come from you might agree or not if its 4 star or not....
The location is great..next to Termini station, just 5 mins walk..good restaurants with quality food around..
The hotel lobby is one of the best..Huge, spacious..very modern but deserted...

The walls of the rooms seems to be made of paper :( sounds travels quick!
Toilet needs complete renovation without question.. worst part of the hotel...
Please do not try the breakfast...stuffy ..messy & pls do not try the coffee.
Would not return due uncleanness.

Room Tip: Anything with a clean toilet

This hotel is centrally located (3 blocks from Termini station) and not too pricey. The rooms are clean and size are ok by European standards. Breakfast has varieties too.

Service can still be improved. I'm giving them a chance.

Room Tip: Stay at higher floors to avoid noise from the road.

During our trip to Italy this summer, we have used 3 Best Western properties and this was definitely the best one.

The check-in staff were efficient and courteous and the rooms were pleasently larger than what we have been getting the last couple of weeks. We got a room on the 5th floor and the bright carpets and walls indicated that recent renovations had been carried out. The room had all the facilities you may want and the bathroom was very well appointed. The breakfast was of acceptable standards with a reasonably good choice.

The location is very central, just a short walk from the Termini station. So, if you are arriving to the FCO airport, take the Leonardo da Vinci train from the airport to the Roma Termini and then you can simply walk down to the hotel. Later on, to go about, in addition to the Termini startion, bus stops and metro are just around the corner.

The staff were quite helpful. We made an on-line resevation for the Vatican museum and they promptly printed it out for us when I mailed it to them. Also, on the day of check-out, they offered to store our bags for as long as we required.

All in all, a very good experience.

Dear Mr and Mrs AzizDhaka

Thank you so much for your lovely words!
It is so pleasing when it is the clients themselves that notice the recent renovations, the new furniture and all the warmth and hard work we have
accomplished.
Breakfast has become a major necessity and we try to provide a wide variety of choice even for those who need gluten free products.
Thank you once again and arrivederci a Roma.

We had stayed several times before in the Termini area, but this is the best price, with an exceptionally clean, large room. Short walk to the train station with metro connections and local bus lines for all the attractions and historic areas.
The room was up to date with a new renovation and larger than the other hotels rooms that we had used in the area. Would definitely recommend. The only drawback was that there were not many dinner restaurants in the immediate area. You can even earn points for Best Western if you are a member.

In the middle of May, we came to Rome without reservations. After all the others had told us they were booked or wanted outrageous amounts of money, my wife found this Best Western once we got back to the Termini neighborhood. We were trying to avoid anything American while on a trip to Europe, so we were hesitant to try a Best Western.

We shouldn't have hesitated. The shower was the best we had in three weeks of Europe, and the climate controls were nice. It was clean, with a comfortable bed, blackout shades, and a safe. The breakfast was good with a coffee machine that is a barista, fruit, pastries, meat & cheese, etcetera.

The price was very decent, at about €100 a night, but it was more expensive on the week days, and less on weekends. Apparently, being two blocks from Termini station means a lot of business travelers. The day we checked out we left early, and they kept our bags until quite late while we did an all-day tour.
