Had 2 nights in rome, the location of the hotel was simply fantastic. We had room 305 which overlooked the ruins, wow. Room was nice, only suggestions I would offer are it would be nice if the fridge had space to put something in, and to have option of aircon (fan great but could have used air con). Shutters were great in keeping out street noise, it was hard to tell what time it was. Both the restaurant and American bar on top were nice, get in early for a seat thou in bar. Breakfast plentiful. So many things to see within walking distance, would thoroughly recommend

We thank you and we will consider your cemments to improve the services of the hotel.
However, we inform that all the rooms have air.conditionning that can be turned on and off by the guests. We invite all our guests to speak directly to the reception staff for any doubt. In this way we can manage to solve as best as possible during their stay.
Best regards.

This venue is really 30' seconds away from the Foro Romano, the very heart of historic Rome, and convenently located near the life-bursting Rione Monti, full of typical restaurants and trendy bars. The personnel is professional and kind and the rooms are the right size, furnished with taste and, of course, perfectly clean. The roof garden has an amazing view over the Fori Romani and is the place where the really abundant and not touristic breakfast is served.
As it often happens the dark side is the Internet Connectivity. Wi-Fi is free but simply non-functioning, despite the claims of the staff pretending everything was okay. Was there for business and no one of my colleagues managed to get something more than old modems speed from that. As this is a hotel with an excellent room for meetings the lack of proper Wi-Fi connectivity refrains me from giving a 5-star evaluation.
But for the rest is perfect.

The staff were brilliant and helpful as usual. Breakfast bakery items absolutely first class. Keep going back to this hotel as service second to none! Location of this hotel is out of this world - can see the Colosseum from your bedroom!!

I have just returned from spending four nights (bed and continental breakfast) at this hotel and can't recommend it highly enough. Rooms were very clean, toiletries and towels replenished every day. Staff were polite, very helpful, but also unobtrusive. Good selection of pastries, fruit, cereals etc for breakfast which was served to 10.30am, so you could have a leisurely breakfast to plan your day, Also within walking distance of all major sites.

Room Tip: The hotel is in the process of being refurbished. We were allocated a room on the first floor which...

As you can judge by the varying reviews on this site it depends a great deal on what room you are allocated as to whether your experience here will be good or bad. I can give you a very good first hand account of this as we were allocated three different rooms during our 5 night stay. So far reviewing our 7 week holiday around Europe I have not had to write a negative review but I am afraid this hotel does deserve a fair bit of criticism. I booked and paid for this hotel some six months in advance so the hotel had my money for some time however when we arrived we were informed that the triple room we booked was not available as the guests who were staying in it had decided to stay for another night. HELLO they should not have been given the option to stay another night as the reply to their request should have been "sorry the room is already booked for tonight" OR "you can stay another night but you will have to relocate to another room". Instead wen we arrived they informed us we would have to stay in TWO rooms as they had no other triple available and then we could move into the triple tomorrow. I was a single mum travelling with my two teens and we did not want to be separated but what choice did we have, it was New Years Eve. The rooms we were given were as other people have said, not up to scratch for the price we had paid. My son had a pokey single room on the back side of the hotel with no view while my daughter and I had a small double room looking out onto the street. I was not impressed. The next day when we came back from sightseeing they had moved us to the triple room which was lovely. It was spacious, nicely decorated and we had a lovely view overlooking part of the old Forum. Breakfast every day was excellent in the lovely roof top location and was plentiful so I don't know what other reviewers were complaining about in that department. As for the WI FI well it was atrocious. There was absolutely no coverage whatsoever in any of the 3 rooms we experienced. My son wished to skype his girlfriend every day and not once was he able to do this from our room, he always had to sit in the reception area to be able to get coverage. Totally not acceptable in this day and age. On our first day when he politely complained at the desk he was told that they were having problems and that it would be fixed the next day. Obviously they didn't realise we were staying for 5 nights and worked this spiel on everyone thinking that most people were only staying a couple of nights and wouldn't notice that it wasn't "FIXED" the next day as they said it would be. As I have previously mentioned I don't like writing negative reviews but this hotel pushed me to the limit. The restaurant staff were lovely, the front desk staff were haughty and not at all helpful. I am afraid I could not recommend this hotel to others even though its location is excellent.

This hotel has been the worst hotel i have been to, i traveled around europe for 1 month and this hotel was the worst. The bathroom was very dirty i always found hair on the tub. The sheet of the bed had holes and did not felt crisp. The view of the room was a wall with trash. The room had the breakfast included, it was horrible the only thing i could eat was a croissant and a pice of cake. The wifi that "was included" did not work at all. Really bad experience!! I really do not recommend it!!!

It is the first time that we receive a comment that is totally negative about our hotel.
The position of the hotel is marvelous between Venice Square and the Colosseum, on the Imperial Forum.
Some of our rooms are internal and the others are external.
If a guest doesn't want an internal room we are always at disposal to change it. We are finisghing the renovating works with new furnitures of high quality.
We have always been very careful to the cleaning of the rooms which are checked every day by the housekeeper.
The breakfast is served on the most beautiful Roof Garden of the city. It is copious and all the cakes are home-made by our staff.
All the guests use WiFi without any claim for bad connection.

I stayed at this Hotel in a twin room and was very satisfied with the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel, the service and friendliness of the staff and the food at breakfast was great, with no limit on the amount you can eat. Its very well placed for sightseeing on foot or buses and metro within 400m.
