Dear guest,
we are indeed extremely sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. However, we would like to take this opportunity to point out that our Breakfast is served in the form of a self service Buffet where our guests may help themselves to a plethora of items including : coffee, tea, milk, fresh bread, ham, fresh fruit, croissants, muffins, doughnuts, cheeses, hams, salami, yoghurt, cakes etc. of course some items are available "upon request" and for these items a small supplement is applicable. We really hope to see you again in the future and thank you for your comments as constructive criticism is always welcome and helps us to improve our services...

This was a last minute reservation made on the day of our arrival and what a charming surprise. You can not beat the location, old charm and roof terrace of this hotel.
From the decor to the staff this hotel will take you back in time, long before the hotel chains appeared and that is what make this hotel so special.
Do not expect huge rooms and bathrooms and standardised furniture some travellers appear to be judging the quality of an hotel by.
And lets face it a Martini at night on the terrace overlooking the forum served by a properly trained barman would please many people.
If you are looking for the charm of "old Europe" this is your place

This hotel is on a side street just off the Flor de Imperiale which means that you are seconds from the Roman Ruins and you have direct views of the Forum (and the Colosseum) from your room. The hotel is lovely polished old carved wood both in the public areas and the rooms. The rooms are a tad small but enough for the time you spend there! There is also a wonderful rooftop bar to enjoy further direct views and lovely sunsets.

To top it off the hotel's rates are very competitive.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the top (4th) floor facing the Colosseum

We stayed here at the end of October for my 50th birthday and was disappointed to get a twin room at the back of hotel even though we paid for a upgrade before we left but we managed to get a double the next day.You are definitely paying for the location as the rooms are not 4star standard. The roof top bar has lovely views but very expensive. The breakfast is ok the usual croissant and coffee cold meats and cheese and sets you up for a day of sightseeing. We had a fantastic time in Rome but I don't know if I would stay here again.

Room Tip: It seems if you are not English you get the best rooms

We stayed at Hotel Forum for 6 great days. The location, near the Colosseum and Palatine Hill, is superb, allowing walking even to the Vatican (40 minutes). Our room (#204), although a little older, was comfortable, clean, roomy, and sufficiently quiet. The bathroom was fully modern and sparkling clean. The view right out the window directly across to the Roman and Imperial fora was incomparable. Sipping Proseco on the rooftop bar at night is one of those "once-in-a-lifetime" experiences! The hotel management was very kind and helpful and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel on our first visit to Rome. The hotel was in the best location to see all the wonderful sites of Rome. Although the hotel is old and rooms were small it was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The restaurant on the roof was fantastic (one of the best meals we had on our whole trip) and also the rooftop bar had wonderful views of the ruins and terrific atmosphere. Would definitely stay there again if we are lucky enough to return to Rome.

We stayed for four nights at the hotel Forum in October. They upgraded our room for free just because they had it available. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. I spent quite a few late night/ early mornings chatting with the overnight desk clerk. Our room was decent sized and directly overlooked the forum which was amazing! the breakfast on the roof was plentiful and had a good variety. The only downsides to our stay was the AC didn't work well and the bed was far too firm for my tastes ( my wife was fine with it). The location was incredible and it's withing walking distance of everything you could want (except maybe the Vatican). All in all a wonderful hotel that i would gladly stay at again, and hopefully will, or recommend to others.

Room Tip: try and get the deluxe double overlooking the forum.
