My wife and myself chose Barocco Hotel for our four night stay in Rome. Our overall experience was outstanding. Location is prime, the whole staff is super friendly, room was clean all time and the bed was comfy, in addition the breakfast was superb. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Rome.

Our room was on the second floor with windows that opened out to look over Piazza Barberini and the Tritone Fontaine. Magnificent view; central to everything; beautiful room and ensuite; fantastically friendly helpful staff; delicious breakfasts...my husband of 35 years and I fell in love all over again here. 😍 It was an easy walk to all major attractions and great shopping on Via Tritone. We dined on our last night on the rooftop terrace restaurant of Bernini Bristol Hotel which was diagonally opposite from us on Piazza Barberini, watching the sunset over St Peters and the city of Rome. Expensive but so romantic! ❤️

Room tip: Prior communication via emails had been promptly replied to and courteous

I last reviewed this hotel in April 2015 - I had stayed on business + a weekend.

Since then it's become my go to hotel while in Rome on business ...and most recently for a one week last minute vacation.

Everything - location, staff, rooms, breakfast, wifi, amenities is absolutely perfect!

The simple double room can be small - but it's cozy. On this last visit, as we were two, we splurged on a suite. It was fabulous for six nights - gave us a bit of seating room and loads of space for luggage.

I've also stayed in the superior double and that in my opinion is fine for a couple and two suitcases. Besides you don't go to Rome to sit in your hotel room ...although it's nice to have a comfortable room after long days sightseeing.

I've had rooms on the outside and inner courtyard - both are excellent - triple paned windows block out all street sound...even when facing the piazza!

The staff are wonderful; friendly and very helpful...they complete the experience. ...actually it wouldn't be as great without them!

Consistently excellent...I keep returning and recommending!

Stayed here for 4 nights over New Years! Great hotel, clean rooms, comfortable bed and good service. Breakfast was good. Enjoyed our stay. Only thing is the maid came into our room twice randomly without knocking to clean the room. We had a do not disturb sign and our key so wasn't sure why that happened two different people and days. Other than that great time! Would stay again
